Sunny heard the shuffling of feet toward the door, he heard it unlock, and saw the door open halfway. He looks up and stares at the slim, scrawny, body that appeared right before him. His eyes lit up in happiness and admiration. He blushes and looked at him.
"S-Sunny, y-you're here early I didn't think you would be here f-for another two hours." He shifts nervously. He hid his body behind the door frame. "Polly is out right now..She'll be b-back soon though, hopefully.." He smiles weakly, "U-Uhm come in," he opened the door all the way and stepped back letting the raven-haired boy walk in.
Sunny dragged his suitcase along behind him and walked into Basil's house. He looked around, "Nothing has changed..like at all..?" he debriefs himself. As he trampled into Basil's house he noticed that the only things that changed were a few plants that were added to his shelves that was it.
Basil closed the door to the house and locked it. He glances up to see Sunny glaring at the plants, his eyes brightened. "You noticed," he smiles. He walked to it, "It's called the Passiflora incarnata, it's commonly known as the maypop or purple passion flower! It's a fast-growing vine with climbing or trailing stems. A member of the passion flower genus , the maypop has large, intricate flowers with prominent styles and stamens. One of the hardiest species of passionflower, it is both found as a in the and in cultivation for its fruit and striking bluish purple blooms." he continues to ramble on about the flower. There was no stutter in his voice at all, it wasn't shaking or anything when he was speaking.
Sunny smiles a little, his cheeks a tint of red. He loved seeing Basil go on about things he loved, he loved to hear his voice. "If only it could be like this forever.." he thought to himself. He stared a Basil in a non-creepy way.
Basil noticed him and immediately stops talking, "Am..Am I talking too much? I-I can stop talking..sorry.." Basil looked down at his shoes clearly embarrassed of himself. "I told myself not to do that..stupid Basil.." He thought to himself.
The raven-haired boy went out of his daydreams and look at Basil. Sunny was trying to choke up some words to say although it looked like he was going to retch all over.
"A-Ah! Sunny! A-Are you okay!?" Basil shot up and went to Sunny's side. He puts a hand on Sunny's back and the on his shoulder.
He spoke, "N-No..Keep talking- about..flowers," he said. He then turned to look at Basil and he tried to smile, but that was more of a struggle than trying to speak..poor Sunny.
Basil grinned widely and began to ramble on about other flowers and what-not.
~Time Skip: 3 hours later, 12:30 PM~
Basil and Sunny were in the living room watching T.V while eating Lunch. Polly had came back with the groceries, so Basil had helped her make Lunch for them three. Sunny hadn't really done much besides stand there and watch. I'm sure if he even tried to cook he'd end up burning cereal if he tried (if you get the reference, you're amazing and I love you for that).
Since Basil had helped prepare it, Sunny savored every last bite of the food like he hadn't eaten anything in years.
Basil glanced down at Sunny on the floor. "Sunny..?"
Sunny stopped his fork mid-air, a piece of lettuce fell of and into the bowl. He turned around slowly and looked at Basil. He tilted his head.
Basil just stared at him back, "Would you like to go to the park with me later.." He looked down or really anywhere that wasn't near Sunny. "I-I- you don't have to..I was just thinking..unless you'd rather chill out here and go another time that's also okay too..If Polly doesn't mind. I-I'll go ask her." He starts to get up, but stops once Sunny took ahold of his wrist. His grip wasn't tight, it was rather gentle. His skin was soft too.. "Wait..Why am I thinking about those things? Stop it Basil!"
