Percy Jackson was a runaway and a suspected criminal accused of the murder of his stepfather Gabe and mother Evelyn among many other crimes including, but not limited to arson, destruction of property, and breaking and entering though due to the fact that not much evidence could be found and he has never been brought in for questioning his case has been all but closed.
Annabeth Hellen chase has had a semi happy life with her mother sally and stepfather Paul but because of many unfortunate accidents she has been kicked out of almost every school she has been to. She is now at Yancy academy a school for "troubled kids" it's not like she is dumb she is quite smart actually but ADHD dislexia and luck worse than normal, she is considered a trouble maker.
Annabeth doesn't have any friends other than Grover underwood, a tall ginger kid who is the only kid in their grade level with a beard it wasn't long but it was noticeably messy and wispy. Along without the fact that he needed crutches you get a kid that isn't very popular.
After all that has happened this school year Annabeth didn't think she could take anymore craziness with her hallucinating a algebra teacher she didn't have and now she is seeing a kid with striking red eyes she swears she is going crazy. But hey can't get much worse can it?

Hi so I had this idea a while back and I couldn't stop thinking about it so yeah this is a Percy Jackson fic but Percy isn't going to be a son of Poseidon but Annabeth is. This isn't going to just be a ship fic if that is what you are looking for but they will end up together in the end. I plan to get to HOO but I don't know if I will make it that far.
