Percy Jackson: the red eyed runaway

Part 3 reunion and an explanation

After I reoriented my self I started panicking and trying to get out of the car where Annabeth, Grover, and sally were already outside and going to get me but as soon as they saw me Grover yelled "come on we just need to make it over the hill" and I started to follow but I could hear something charging behind us and decided to run even faster

Annabeth was running the fastest with Grover a little ways behind but I was just trying to make sure Sally didn't get left behind.

The charging of the Minotaur stopped as it seemed to smell the car but immediately turned to us and started running again and it was running fast

As it got closer I knew I couldn't let this thing get to us so I turned around and pulled out my knife and yelled back "I'll distract it wile you guys run hurry"

"No Peter don't that is the Minotaur it will kill you just keep running" Sally called to me

"Sorry but no just go follow Annabeth she needs you" I said as I was bracing to doge out of the way "and I am sorry for lying but my names not Peter is is Percy"

As the monster got about a foot away from me I jumped up turning in midair onto its back and tried to kick it down but only managing to slow it down as it stumbled as it kept running towards Sally and the others

My heart almost stopped as it was about six feet from reaching Sally and I yelled out with as much persuasion as I could "stop" and the beast did, but so did Sally. still only a few feet away from it as I ran to try to save her seeing Annabeth also started running back to do the same

And with the same persuasion I yelled at Sally "no Sally run" and Sally slowly started running but behind her the Minotaur was starting to shake his head and started moving again

Annabeth was running faster than anyone else I could ever seen and looked even taller than usual and as she got to Sally she pulled her out of the way and the beast ran behind them just inches away from grabbing Sally and as I finally got to them I jumped onto its back dropping my knife on the floor.

I went to grab my knife but it wasn't there I looked around still getting tossed and turned like a bull rider I saw my knife on the ground so I grabbed the Minotaurs horns and started pulling as it bucked up and down to try to get me off. I saw Annabeth run over and pick up my knife from the floor and started running to the Minotaur. I tried to steer it away from Sally and Grover who was also seemingly under my persuasion. with one last pull up I revealed it's neck to Annabeth as she stabbed it and at the same time it's horns were ripped off and if exploded in a spray of golden dust.

Annabeth fell to the floor from what I can only assume to be stress, passed out. I dropped the horns and went to pick her up and carried her to Grover and Sally who seemed to be just coming back to consciousness after I had yelled for them to stop. They started walking to me and asking what happened

I told them that we killed it and Grover pointed us to the hill where it seemed that people were showing up to observe  and I started walking with Annabeth in my arms hoping that this camp had some beds she could rest at.

I could hear whispers from the people at the hill and I noticed a man who looked like he was riding a horse but upon closer inspection I couldn't see the horses head but I didn't really think about it.

when I got to the top of the hill I stopped at the tall pine tree, it felt familiar but I continued walking. As soon as I passed the tree I felt myself getting cleaner. I looked down to see a pink aura surround me and my clothes had been changed to what looked like a fancy Ancient Greek chiton and herd the man on a horse call out with a deep and commanding voice "welcome son of Aphrodite goddess of love, beauty and pleasure"
