New Obsession

Qing and I have a new obsession. That is to annihilate MD and DaWan at bowling. To see how serious we are on this matter, my husband and I employed a professional bowler to teach us how to improve our skills in throwing bowling balls to knock off those pins.

And oh, you read that right. I use annihilate instead of defeat or beat. No, we simply don't want to best them on bowling...we need to crush them! The humiliating defeat Qing and I experienced on that bowling double date, demands us to stomp MD and DaWan to ground until they are dusts under our feet.

(That bad?)

Yes. It was a bloodbath...with tears. My tears. I almost drop a bowling ball on my foot and for a second, my life flashed before my eyes. After the game, I asked Qing if he'll be okay with a husband with a crushed foot.

Qing: Stop dwelling on what almost happened. You are fine.

Me: The scenarios that ran through my head. The wheelchair we would have bought.

Qing: I'll at least give you a prosthetic foot.

Me: (sniffing in fear) Its not making me feel better.

Qing: I know. It was scary...

Me: It was. And now I want to donate half of my fortune on disabled people. We should buy wheelchairs and donate them as well.

Qing: Okay. Lets do that. But also...lets get better at bowling.

Me: (fear retreating to be replaced with fury) Yeah lets! I would never forget this day. The day I found out I was truly lousy at bowling.

Qing: We should have prepared.

Me: They practically cheated! They should have warned us how GOOD they really are! They could have played professionally!

MD and DaWan didn't lie when they said they enjoy bowling. MD was great at it but DaWan was the real thing. She scored perfectly. Meanwhile my score barely went above half. My pride was in hell when that game ended.

Qing: Yeah. They trapped us. And now, we are going home like losers.

Me: (panicking) Qing! I don't want to be a bowler loser!

Qing: (patting my thigh) Don't worry, Love. We will get revenge.

(You two...)

Yeah this is us now. A married couple who knows how to hold on to grudge. And we will not let this transgression pass. We will be avenge.

(Its just bowling)

Not anymore. Its war.

Anyways, its December. The weather is getting colder and colder. Qing is doing well in his studies. I'm not doing well in terms of finding the right dubbing works, but thats life. Sometimes it works out, sometimes you are finding roadblocks on your path. Either way, I am forging on.

I find myself visiting JiJi more often. I miss the Goddess next door but she's in Japan with Candy right now. She's...dealing with a health condition and she found a doctor in Japan who could help her. Its nothing too serious to be worried about but still, I feel concern about her. I am planning to visit her. Maybe spend Christmas in Japan with her and her family. I still haven't told Qing but you know...I'll cross the bridge when I get there.

Speaking of JiJi, she's extremely tired nowadays.

JiJi: I have three sons. I'm not kidding.

Me: It couldn't be that bad.

JiJi: True. My husband try to help but, he's basically useless.

Me: Its not Gege's fault if TJ likes you more than him.
