Chapter 17

"Shai? Are you ready?" Kei knocked. I was still in the bathroom. Calming myself down.

My first ever mission as Agent Malvolia.

Fuck my heart wont stop beating so fast!

Hinawakan ko nalang ang dibdib ko. You're alright Shai.

"Shai papasok ako pag hindi ka lumabas diyan." Kei threatened kaya napalabas ako ng wala sa oras. He wa sin front of the door. Leaning at the door frame. "I knew it." He smiled before reaching his hand out to touch my cheeks.

He gently rubbed it.

"You'll be fine. I'm with you." He assured before pulling me for a hug.

It somehow helped me to calm down.

Hinawakan niya ang kamay ko tsaka kami umalis. I couldn't speak or anything. Tahimik lang ako buong byahe.

"The mission is simple okay? We just have to protect the son of a former politician. He's name's Sandro. Rings a bell?" Tanong niya at umiling ako.

Pero napatigil din ako. Sandro? "I think I know him because of Fran."

"They're friends. Agent Black and Red will be here as well. But it's better if we do not make any contact with them." Inexplain niya kaya nagtaka ako.

"Bakit?" I arched  a brow.

"I told you, they do so much missions, to the point na kilalang kilala na sila, they're the target of every single organization by now. They didn't want both of them to go rampage. Delikado para sayo kaya lalayo tayo." And with that, I just nod.

Really. Fran's totally different. I do accept that fact but I still can't swallow all of it.

"We're here." Hinito niya yung sasakyan sa isang mansyon. There was a huge party. "Don't call me by my name at any costs okay?"

"Copy Ysseus." I gave him a smile.

Pagkababa namin ay napansin naming nauna sila Red at Black. Kaya pinauna na namin sila.

He interviewed our hands together as we walked inside the mansion. I was shaking. I know I am.

We were greeted by a lot of politicians. Some of the people here are models and actors. When those people left us. He gave me a indication where Sandro is.

Pero mula kanina ay may nararamdaman akong nagmamasid samin.

I don't know if Kei felt that because he acts too cool and carefree. Nagpaalam naman ako kay Kei, I was about to go to the bathroom. Pero hindi pa ako nakakalayo ay lumapit na samin si Jake.

What the hell?!

"Shai?" Kunot noo niyang tawag sakin.

"J-jake." I forced a smile.

I felt Kei holding me on his arms again. He wrapped his hand on my waist to pull me close. Alam kong nakita ni Jake yon dahil gumuhit ang sakit sa mata niya.

I don't have feelings for Jake but we had a friendship.

"Why do you know him?" Kei whispered at me.

I swallowed hard.

"Jake this is Kei. Kei si Jake." I introduced them to one another.

"Boyfriend mo?" Jake asked.

It took me a while to process the question kahit may sagot naman ako "Yeah." Kei answered "I am his boyfriend, do we have a problem?" Masungit na tanong ni Kei sakanya kaya ako na ang natakot para kay Jake.

I will run if I were you Jake.

I saw how he swallowed "Okay. Congratulations Shai." He gave us a nod and left.
