Garmakai| Video Game

A/N: I don't think is a very popular ship, but I like it a lot for some reason. (And the fanart by @blaakycat on Tumblr is so cute!) Also, credit to them for the chapter cover!

Setting: When Lord Garmadon was a guest at the Bounty because he agreed with Sensei Wu to help find Lloyd.

~No one's POV~

Garmadon sat quietly in the corner of the dark gaming room, fascinated by the way Kai's fingers played gracefully across his controller, and the way he cheered as he won another round of his game. Kai was somewhat aware that Garmadon was in the room with him, just as long as he doesn't start destroying things, he's fine.

Yesterday, Garmadon caught Kai spying on Nya having a private conversation with Sensei Wu. He remembered how flustered and cute Kai was when he called him, "Mr. SnoopyPants"

Garmadon wanted to see something, "Hey, Mr. SnoopyPants."

"What do you want?..." Kai grumbled, still focused on his game.

"Oh, my. You actually fell for it! Is 'Mr. SnoopyPants' your name, then? You answered me." Garmadon laughed, for his small plan worked.

Kai turned around to see Lord Garmadon smiling and chuckling softly at his funny joke. Kai felt his own lips edge upwards, as seeing the dark lord actually laughed(not evilly) for once. Now, his voice sounds so carefree, so god damn sexy, it's like he's teasing Kai. Pink dusted Kai's cheeks, but not enough for Garmadon to see.

"Yeah, haha, you got me!" Kai managed to say, mesmerized by Garmadon's face. He would've gotten all angry and yelled, but having the evil man in the room with him causes Kai to feel safer, and calmer. But why? How? He's supposed to be my enemy!

Kai waited a few more seconds for Garmadon to say something else. Disappointed, he picked up the controller, and went back to playing Fist to Face 2.

The low shuffling of feet against wood reached Kai's ears too late. He could feel the displacement of air as Garmadon's larger form sat down next to him.

"Huh? What are y-you doing?" Kai asked, shocked that Garmadon finally moved from his spot in the corner of the room.

"You know. I want you to teach me how to play the game so I can play it with you." Garmadon picked up another controller which happened to be only two feet away from him.

"Look, last time I saw you play a videogame, you were just pressing random buttons!" Kai argued, crossing his arms.

"That was because someone didn't teach me!" Garmadon spat.

"Yeah, ok fine. I'll teach you." Kai sighed. He's secretly happy he gets to teach and will be able to play his favorite game with Garmadon.

Kai pointed to a circular pad on the left side of the controller, "This is how you move. Just put your finger on it and then swirl it around."

Garmadon nodded, then did what Kai said while looking up at the bright screen, watching his character move about.

"Press the small button with an 'A' on it to jump." Kai continued explaining.

Garmadon proceeded to do just that.

Kai pressed a few buttons and the screen now said, "Menu" in bright yellow lettering across the top.

"What are you doing? I thought this game was about fighting!" Garmadon grabbed Kai's shirt in an attempt to get his point across.

"It is! The first few levels you only need to know how to move and jump." Kai rolled his eyes.

Garmadon grunted and grumbled a 'yeah, ok'. Kai selected level one and waited for it to load. When it loaded, Kai looked at Garmadon to see if he was paying attention. Apparently not, then, Kai thought as his red eyes met Garmadon's glowing red ones. H-he was staring at me?! A blush crept upon Kai's face.

The hothead got over it and said, "Hey, you know, the level is loaded. We can play now."

"Oh, I want to play, but not on that." Garmadon smirked, and walked his fingers up to Kai's chin, "I want to play... On you."

"W-what?" Kai stuttered, his face being engulfed in red.

"Hmmmm, we won't be needing these." Garmadon tossed the controllers away from them.

Garmadon pinned Kai down with two arms on each of Kai's arms. Kai struggled a bit, but gave up soon enough, knowing he can't win against someone that strong.

"Good, good. Now, we begin with this." Garmadon pressed his lips to Kai's.

Kai doesn't know how he should react. Kiss back? Or pull away? I know, this is so wrong, but feels so right! He decided to kiss back. Garmadon was pleased with Kai's decision, so he seized the moment to start pulling up Kai's shirt, while deepening the kiss. Kai had to pull apart while his shirt slipped over his head, then returned to the kiss. Garmadon slightly bit Kai's lower lip, demanding for entrance. I didn't know he is such a good kisser. I want more. Kai, of course, allowed. Garmadon explored every inch of Kai's mouth, enjoying the sweet roasted marshmallow taste. They parted, gasping for breath.

"Before we get into it, can I say something?" Garmadon whispered in Kai's ear, then placed a small kiss on his neck.

Kai noded nervously. He was enjoying this. No one has ever payed this much attention to him before. He yearned for more.

"I love you," Garmadon said in all seriousness, locking eyes with Kai.

"I-I love you, too..." Kai smiled, grateful he had finally found someone who he loves.
