|--Crow - Cry of Fear--|

Through a tedious walk back home, Eddy slowly pushed the front door open, the dim atmosphere of their living room being no different. As he ate at the table, the repeating elements of his life felt much more newer to him. He hoped that this person that he befriended would soon be of any good to him. Rose took not long to notice his peculiar excitement, however.

"You seem a bit shaky," she began. "Is something wrong, dear?"

Eddy tried to dismiss it like all the other questions he got asked by her. "Oh um," he hesitated. "It's nothing, really!"

"Are you excited about something?" she pressed on, her smile gentle yet insistent.

He gazed at the refrigerator beside him for a split second. "Oh yeah!" Eddy responded. "Can't wait for this new game that got released!"

Though Rose knew that no game has been released this day, she still felt happy for him nonetheless. She knew that no new game has been released today. She offered him a warm smile, silently cheering on for the excitement inside him, as any good older sibling would do.

The atmosphere in their apartment shifted as they retreated back to their rooms. Rose turned on the light in her room to prepare her bed. Rose then went straight for her bed after getting it done and turning off the light. She was halfway drowned in her sleep in the black void of her room when the door creaked open, revealing a slouched figure in its pajamas with a pillow loosely gripped on his hand.

"Mind if I stay here for a moment?" Eddy asked, standing at the near doorframe to her room. "Had a rough nightmare."

Rose droopingly looked up at him, surprised by Eddy's sudden request. "Oh, sure go ahead," she said, her voice tired than ever.

As Eddy climbed up on her bed, Rose laid there quickly catching up on past memories of them being together. It was evident that despite his initial optimism at the dinner table together, Eddy's inner demons still hadn't let go of him.

"I remember how we'd use to cuddle when we were young" Rose reflected, her voice tinged with nostalgia.

he responded with detachment. "Yeah, I remember"

Rose gave a faint smirk. "Well now that you're a big boy now," she teased. "I guess cuddling with me is just a thing of the past for you."

Eddy's face sinked under the blankets, flushed with embarrassment. "No, that's not true!" He mumbled. "I'm still young enough!"

Rose turned over to face the wall. "Well, goodnight I guess." she finished before turning off the lamp to her side, plunging the atmosphere in the darkness again.

As Eddy laid there on her bed, he thought further about this small conversation that he had. His inner thoughts have taken a bigger toll on him than before, that he had to sleep in her room to let go of them. He gazed through the dim celling, wondering of the new person he will soon meet tomorrow. Compared to Eddy's cluttered space, Rose's room was much more cleaner than his. A small window offered a glimpse to the vivid cityscape outside, while a small desk stood in front of it with an old laptop kept on it. Even her closet was meticulously organized and well-kept, much more suited for a woman like her.

-------------------------------------------------

After a quick breakfast with a toast, Eddy was set again for the next session. He did not know what might come next for this day's topic, but he sure looked forward to it. As he waited at the bus stop, his phone rang. He picked the call up to hear a deep but arousing voice that sent shiver down his spine. It was her - the woman he had befriended the very previous day

"Wanna come over?" she breathed into the phone, her voice brimmed with invitation.

Eddy was caught off-guard by that question. "Uh, where are you right now?" he asked hesitantly.

"Was wondering maybe you could... spend some time with me." she responded in the same manner.

By that moment, Eddy felt a pang of anxiousness. It was the first time a girl had shown interest in him after just a few days of knowing each other. He inhaled to breath in the next answer.

"I don't think I can go," he uttered. "I ain't missing this."

"Don't worry, Eddy," she answered. "I also skipped it. Nothing wrong with bunking for a day, right?"

He felt cornered by that moment. He couldn't bring himself to hang up that call, as he would just lose her like all the failed attempts he had in the past. Eddy soon stepped into a bus that had arrived after a while. He felt a bit suspicious about this, about a girl like her going for a good for nothing guy like him, because all the relationships he had before had already proved he was a lost cause for the dating scene. He leaned his head on the tinted glass, hoping that whatever things they do with each other are from the bottom of their heart or not.

Thinking about going back home and giving up on her, the bus suddenly halted to a stop. He stepped out into an unfamiliar place, far from where he attends his sessions. It was an old motel, it's ruined exterior and the flickering sign outside contrasted heavily from the dense streets he had roamed around in. With an air of confusion, he dialed her number, seeking out with room she was in.

Going through security, he ascended the old stairs outside to Charlotte's room. It looked rather rugged and worn-out, much like the outside.

"Didn't think you'd actually come," said Charlotte as Eddy slowly stepped into the room. "I'm only just staying here for a few weeks by the way."

"No problem, m'lady!" Eddy responded in an air of supposed seriousness.

Charlotte answered with a faint chuckle. "It's alright, Eddy." she answered, making him feel more at ease with her at this moment.

Eddy looked at the old furniture around the room, preparing what to say next. "So, what you wanna do next?" he asked, praying to himself that he did not botch this moment between the both of them.

Her chuckle lingered in the air, easing the tension inside Eddy. "How about we just relax for now?" she suggested, her voice soft and gentle.

"Sounds good," Eddy nodded as he progressed further inside. "Nice TV by the way, can I put something on it?"

"Sure, go head," she replied with a smile, knowing that he thought it was hers. "I'm gonna head over to the bathroom real quick."

Eddy soon got seated into the huge tattered brown bed. The interior gave an essence of old apartment floors from the 90s, even he wondered about how long has this motel been running for. Hastily finding the remote, he turned on the TV and went for Netflix. The fact of immediately getting into the action after just a few days made his heart spin, as there was only a one in a million chances of this happening.

As Charlotte stepped out of the bathroom, Eddy had already gotten settled on the bed with a show halfway going through at the TV. She scooched over for some room beside him and rested her head on his shoulder. "You're into movies, huh?" she asked.

"Yeah, I'm a movies kinda guy!" Eddy replied confidently as he showed her what he was watching.

"Ah, Drive," she recognized as she wrapped her arm around his. "I've heard good things about this one."

Eddy reached for his remote. "I don't wanna spoil the fun too soon, so..." He got ahead into putting on the most first episode of Breaking Bad on the TV. "How about this?"

"Sure thing, I also like movies."

They started watching the show with each after getting comfortable between themselves. Eddy watched with a rather mischievous looking grin on his face, whilst Charlotte watched with a faint smile.

As they watched the show together, Charlotte got even closer to Eddy, making him quite uncomfortable. "I have a request," she whispered near his ear.

Trying to calm himself, Eddy slowly glanced at her. "Sure, what you want?"

She got even closer to his ear, which made him uncomfortable. Inhaling, she put together her dreaded question. "Wanna do it?"
