THAT'S RIGHT HOMIES YOUR LEAST FAVORITE (or favorite, i dunno what y'all think of me) SATIRE AUTHOR IS MAKING A SERIOUS BOOK :D  And yes, I am making an actual cover for this book, the one up there right now is just a placeholder while I get over my artists' block and find time to actually make an original cover.
The image above is an artist's rendition of what I am currently NOT doing. Whoops.

Basic plot, Izuku Midoriya moves to San Francisco because of his mom getting a new job with better pay (not like "top 0.001% multi-trillionaire eat the rich" type of pay, more like "upper middle class with disposable income" pay). While keeping in touch with his friends from Japan, he assimilates into his new school and a new close-knit friend group. Together, the group will make their way through high school and becoming a hero, while Izuku learns to adjust to life in a new setting. Meanwhile, a new threat is lurking in the shadows of the city. A more dangerous, influential threat than Izuku had ever faced before. And somehow, he and his new friends may just be the city's only hope...

Things of note before you read:

- Romance is NOT the main focal point. Izuku will not be in any romantic relationships, just platonic ones. Still, there may be some relationships either in the background or mentioned in passing.

- I have long profiles for the 5 main OCs in my book "The Modern Prometheus", which is my OC book. I'd suggest reading them before the OC Time Chapter in this book.

- I will not disclose Izuku's sexuality. I'm not putting myself in stupid discourse territory.

- The way the story progresses is somewhat similar to other stories in this vein, but I did try my hardest to differentiate it from the others in terms of plot and characters.

- The main characters are under the American legal age of drinking and consuming tobacco. They're not smoking, drinking, or doing any sort of drugs. Call me boring or a prude, but I'm a psychology major with two doctors for parents. I know what can come from doing any of those things while under the legal age (or at all). If you have any problems with underage kids NOT doing harmful substances, grow the fuck up.

- The teens DO still swear. I'm not a complete loser, don't worry. Or maybe I am. Who knows? I'm writing fanfiction on Wattpad while posing as a hive mind of moths with internet access, for fuck's sake.

Also, the images up top m̶a̶y̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶m̶a̶y̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶  WILL pertain to the chapter or subject matter at hand. The one up there is just a funny image I found on the Pinterest. Also, I'm gonna be indicating author's note chapters with the TBH creature (the little guy up there) and -these bad boys in the title-, so that way you guys will know when to skip over or not.

With all that out of the way, enjoy the story. Or don't.
