Seokmin woke up, stirring in his sleep, stretching his well-built body with a lazy yawn. Today was the weekend, which meant a break from work, and he was grateful to be home. Sitting in front of a screen was the last thing Seokmin wanted to do on his weekends.

A smile formed on his lips as he smelled the familiar sweet scent of morning breakfast. It had been two weeks since his marriage, and Seokmin had never been this happy.

Waking up every morning to a beautiful and caring husband who cooked breakfast, helped him tie his necktie, and reminded him to eat lunch during calls had become a comforting routine for Seokmin.

Sure, his life was good enough before—having everything essential: a home, a stable job, and a group of friends who would do anything for him. But now, he had a reason to truly live. A reason to wake up with a smile. A reason to go to work with excitement.

Joshua.

"Are you going to spend the whole day in bed, or do you plan to get up and freshen up?" Joshua's voice broke Seokmin's reverie.

"I'm up," Seokmin replied, watching Joshua shake his head with a playful eye roll before disappearing out the door. Seokmin quickly freshened up, changing into his home clothes before making his way to the kitchen counter where breakfast awaited him.

"You really need to stop bringing your laptop into my kitchen. Someday, I might actually break it," Joshua mumbled, glaring at Seokmin's work laptop, eliciting a laugh from Seokmin.

"I just need to send an email, then I'm all yours," Seokmin said, turning on his laptop and grabbing a plate of pancakes, multitasking while eating and working.

Their dinner continued quietly after that, with Joshua finishing first and heading out to the balcony to water the plants. He had added a touch of home to the interiors, with small plants and portraits adorning the walls.

The doorbell rang, catching Joshua's attention as he turned back to see Seokmin on a call. Joshua wiped his hands on a towel before walking over to answer the door.

"Yes?" Joshua answered the delivery man.

"Parcel for Lee Joshua," the man said, pushing a large box into Joshua's hands.

"From whom?" Joshua questioned, signing the bill and watching as the man shrugged before walking away.

Curious, Joshua quickly opened the box, his eyes widening at the sight of a new set of brushes, paints, blades, pencils, and canvases inside.

"Did you like it?" Joshua yelped in surprise, turning to find Seokmin standing right behind him.

"How did you—" Joshua's voice softened as he admired the contents of the box. Painting, coloring, drawing—everything had been a part of Joshua's life that he had both wanted to continue and cut off.

"I asked your mom," Seokmin said, smiling sheepishly. "Sorry if it seems nosy, but I just wanted to make you happy."

"Thank you," Joshua's arms wrapped around Seokmin's waist as he laid his head on his firm chest. Seokmin paused for a second before returning the embrace, wrapping his arms around Joshua.

"Don't be," Seokmin said, patting Joshua's head. "I want to give you every happiness in this world."

As Seokmin held Joshua close, he whispered softly, "You're my greatest masterpiece, Joshua. And I'll spend the rest of my life painting our love story together."

"Come on, smile now," Seokmin urged, gently squeezing Joshua's cheeks, eliciting a joyful laugh from him.

"Get ready," Seokmin said, brushing Joshua's strands behind his ears lovingly. "We're going to explore Japan today," he announced, allowing Joshua to step out of his embrace.

Joshua walked into the bedroom, his heart swelling with excitement, carrying the art set with him. Setting the box safely inside the closet, he deliberated over his outfit, wanting to impress Seokmin with his choice.

After a moment of contemplation, Joshua selected a green cardigan, paired with a crisp white shirt and classic jeans. With a deep breath, he looked at his reflection in the mirror, patting his cheeks with compact powder before grabbing his black sling bag.

As Joshua emerged from the bedroom, his heart raced at the sight of Seokmin, already waiting in the living room. Seokmin looked effortlessly handsome in a baby blue shirt and black pants, his hair neatly parted.

"Let's go," Joshua called out softly, fidgeting with his hands nervously, feeling a wave of insecurity wash over him.

To Joshua's surprise, Seokmin remained still, his gaze fixed on him. A rush of self-doubt flooded Joshua's mind. Did he look bad? Was he not pretty enough?

Then, Seokmin's voice shattered Joshua's walls of insecurity. "I'm so blessed to have you," he declared, his eyes filled with adoration as he cupped Joshua's face in his hands.

"You... you look incredibly beautiful," Seokmin whispered, his voice filled with sincerity and love. "And I pray to the stars every night for bringing us together."

Joshua's heart swelled with warmth at Seokmin's words, feeling deeply cherished and loved in that moment. With a soft smile, he leaned into Seokmin's touch, grateful for the love they shared and the journey they were embarking on together.
