"Ah, it's beautiful..." Joshua murmurs as he watches the delicate pink petals of the cherry blossom tree dancing gracefully around them in the garden, fulfilling one of Joshua's childhood dreams.

"Not more beautiful than you," Seokmin replies, his gaze fixed on Joshua as he reaches out to remove the single petal that had found its way into Joshua's hair, causing Joshua to blush and fidget with his hands, casting shy glances around.

"You're... incredibly..." Joshua begins, struggling to find the right word to describe Seokmin, who chuckles teasingly and nudges Joshua with his arm. "Incredibly what?" Seokmin prompts, his tone playful as he nudges Joshua again. "I'm incredibly what?"

"Very annoying!" Joshua exclaims with a playful tongue sticking out, before grabbing the large picnic basket and heading towards the biggest tree he could find, Seokmin following close behind.

"I guess you're stuck with this Mr. Annoying for the rest of your life now," Seokmin teases as they stand in front of a tree, which, although quite big compared to many trees present there, was still comparatively small compared to the ones deeper inside.

Joshua rolls his eyes playfully as he lays the mat down and places the picnic basket down, gesturing for Seokmin to join him with a playful wave of his index finger.

"You talk a lot," Joshua remarks as he sits down and opens the tiffin box, the pleasant aroma of the freshly cooked food filling the air as Seokmin scoots closer to Joshua, sitting knee to knee with him, reaching out to tuck his hair behind his ears.

"You love to listen," he says, caressing Joshua's face, and Joshua bites his lips to stop himself from smiling crazily as he reaches out to hold Seokmin's hand.

"Come on, let's eat," Joshua says as he pouts at Seokmin, who squeezes his pouty lips before sitting up straight.

As Joshua and Seokmin savored their picnic under the cherry blossom tree, surrounded by the gentle flutter of petals, their laughter and conversation filled the air with warmth and affection. With each bite of food shared between them, their bond grew stronger, weaving together a tapestry of love and companionship that seemed to transcend time.

Seokmin's fingers traced delicate patterns on Joshua's hand as they talked, their voices blending harmoniously with the rustle of leaves overhead. Joshua's heart swelled with love for this man beside him, his soulmate, his everything. He couldn't help but steal glances at Seokmin, marveling at the way the sunlight played across his features, illuminating his beauty like a Renaissance painting come to life.

Perhaps this was the happiness he deserves – happiness embodied in Lee Seokmin, his husband, his soulmate, his other half, his love.

Seokmin caught Joshua's gaze and grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he reached for another bite of food. "You know, I could get used to this," he said, his voice soft and filled with warmth. "Just you and me, together, like this, forever."

Joshua's heart skipped a beat at Seokmin's words, a surge of emotion washing over him like a tidal wave. Forever. The word hung in the air between them, heavy with promise and possibility. It was a future Joshua had only dared to dream of, a future he now held in the palm of his hand, thanks to Seokmin.

After being betrayed by his past lover, Junhui not only broke his heart but also shattered his dignity and trust in love, leaving Joshua in pieces that Seokmin was ready to put together and cherish. Joshua could never stop thanking the heavens for it.

With a trembling hand, Joshua reached out to cup Seokmin's cheek, his touch gentle yet filled with a fierce determination. "Forever," he whispered, his voice barely above a breath. "I want to spend forever with you, Seokmin. You're my everything."

Tears welled up in Seokmin's eyes at Joshua's words, his heart overflowing with love for this man who had captured his soul so completely. Without a word, he leaned in to press his lips against Joshua's, sealing their love with a kiss that spoke volumes without saying a single word.

"Shua, my baby," Seokmin whispers against Joshua's lips as he holds him close, "I know the time has been nothing but hard on you, but I would love to make it a little easier for you. I'm ready to make this world a little less burdensome for you, just give me a chance?" He says, his heart held out in his hands, as Joshua crashes into Seokmin's chest, who holds him tightly.

"I don't deserve you," Joshua whispers into his chest, trembling with each breath, as Seokmin lightly pats his back.

"You deserve the whole world, my sunshine..." And it's true, a person like Joshua was not made to sit in a corner and cry over his past. A person like Joshua was made for Seokmin, who was ready to bridge the two ends of the world for him.

"I'm ready to give love another chance, I'm ready to take this risk, please don't prove me wrong..." Joshua pulls back, staring at Seokmin, his eyes shining with tears in the corners, and Seokmin gently wipes them away.

"I swear you won't regret this, you deserve every inch of happiness this world has to offer, and I'm ready to give it all to you," he says before leaning in to press his lips against Joshua's, who kisses back, threading his fingers into Seokmin's hair as a breathy moan escapes his lips, causing Seokmin's hold on him to tighten.
