I went back to reading my book.

Suddenly, he left cause someone was calling him and then....everything went blank.

Did I just faint ? Cause it looks like I just fainted.

Anyways, I fainted and I saw myself in total darkness. What's going on?

I walked further and then I saw a beautiful being seated so, so. Ehe I don get the word. Majestically. I looked at him or it but it looks like him cause he has guy eye and hair and body and everything.

What is going on?

" Seat down little one" he smiled. Na Angel be dis?

" Just seat down first. I'll explain everything" he ordered.

I sat down slowly to see his reaction and it was a satisfied look.

" My name is Ares. The god of war" he said. " I know your name is Jane, the beauty of the world"

Ah ah! Is he trying to whine me or what?

" Abeg say what you want to say" I hissed.

" Are you guys having a meeting without me?" A young lady appeared from nowhere. So is this wan goddess of peace?

" You mustn't be in every meeting I  am having Aphrodite" Aphrodine! Jesus! What kind of name is that? I thought

" Don't say that name here" they both said at the same time. Which name?

"Which name?" I asked.

" That name.  You thought of it" okay is it Jesus.

"Okay Jesus. What is wrong...."

I didn't even finish my sentence I was on the ground, staying there like a dead lamb. No energy came close to my side. No life, just me staying on the ground.

"Didn't you here when I said don't you dare say or think of that name here" Arphrodine said releasing me of whatever kept me on the ground.

" Wetin you do me?" I asked dusting myself up.

" I punished you for saying that name and for thinking it" she shrugged as if it was a normal thing to do such thing.

" How did you know what I thought" I stood in an akimbo waiting for a fight.

" I read your mind" she answered.

" Who send you?" I murmured rudely. " Who send you to read my mind. I send you, you are a idiot, foolish idiot is what you are. You..." I got interrupted by the man that was standing there.

" Calm down" he suddenly jumped in between us. " Calm down, you weren't brought to fight. Calm down, let's go inside and talk"  he said removing the tension.

He led me into a big palace, it was very beautiful with lights and fancy lights. I felt like staying here forever but...I don't want to.

" Why?" He asked. Was he talking to me or Aphrodine. "I was talking to you"

" I don't know why" I answered boldly despite the fact that he is a god as he calls himself.

We walked further into the place and it became more beautiful and cozier.

Suddenly I saw thrones bigger than my aunty's house and her house is bigger than two big duplexes join together. It was as if I was an ant.

Then suddenly, they bowed to the biggest throne here. I think it is their highest god or something.

They were giants in my eyes. Fear suddenly came inside my body like I should start shaking.

"Daddy" the man who led me here bowed too. " Here she is" he said and disappeared into where I don't know even the Aprhodine.

"Dear child" I looked up at the thunderous voice. I couldn't even see him. " You are welcome to the gods of the underworld" he had this evil at..mos...fear around him.

" Wetin you want?" How come I am not afraid? Sha if I die, I die, if I live, I live.

" How dare you talk to me like that!" He yelled.

"Oya na, wetin you want?" I asked using a fake baby voice.

"I want you to join us" he bent low and now I could see his ugly face. With all due respect. " You dare call me ugly" he eyed me.

" Hm" I scoffed or coughed—whatever it is called. " So if I join una group now. Wetin you go give me?" I asked ignoring his question.

" I will give you the world, I will give you what you want, you will be rich, you will have power" POWER!! " Yes you will have power!" He laughed.

POWER! POWER!!! I want POWER!!
POWER!! JUST POWER!

" I'll give you the whole power to reset the world. To recreate the world. You will be a goddess, you will rule, you can punish your aunty Screamer, you can kill her and no one will do anything to you. You are special to me so nobody will hurt you...as long as you give me your heart...your soul...your spirit...your everything. Give me let me take care of it" he laughed once more.

"So I should cut my body out and remove my heart" I asked. Wait o...

"No-"

" If I remove am. How I go enjoy everything you dey promise me?" I asked cutting him off. "Dat means everything you dey talk na lie" I concluded.

"No!" He shouted. " It's not a lie. You arent supposed to remove your real heart. It is just saying some few words that you will forever serve me and I will be your lord" he he calmed down.

" Okay" I also calmed down taking in everything he said. " So wetin I go do to gain all this things you dey talk now?" I asked.

"Just repeat after me...." He said with a happy tone.

Wetin dey sweet this wan now.

"Okay"

A/N: Jane please don't do it 🥺. Please! But if you do and it turns out bad don't call me telling me to change your line in the book😄.

So what is going to happen now? Is she really going to join them. Isn't it obvious that she will, I feel so sad that she will regret so many things.
I hope she won't. Who also hopes she won't? Give a thumbs up if you give her the advice not to join this  guys.
