Maya's POV
It's been about 2 days since that incident. I sorted things out with Josh. He was pretty mad but he got the point. I'm freaking out why on earth did I swear I wouldn't say anything.
Ugh it's 7:30 I don't want to move. I force myself out of bed. I grab my green green day shirt my black skinny jeans and boots. I brush my hair real fast and shove it in a ponytail.
I come out of my room at 7:35. 5 minutes not to bad. Dad is making waffles cause its the only thing that won't make my mom puke. I grab two they are huge. I drown them is syrup and grab some orange juice. Then I get some for my mom. I eat mine fast then run and grab my backpack and run over to riles.
M: hey losers! A: what's the password? M: wait auggie where is Riley's!? A: shes getting dressed. M: let me uppp! A: oh ok fine it's unlocked. M: thank you!
R: you kissed Lucas!? M: maybeee r: and you are dating my uncle! C: wait you are dating my brother!? M: yes and yes I explained it to him its fine. But it got uhh Lucas to spill. R: about Texas!? M: nooo Hawaii of course Texas.
R: that's not fair that he told you and not me! M: he isn't telling you because he is trying to protect you. R: that doesn't even make sense. M: he doesn't want to lose your trust. He doesn't want to room his friendship with anybody. C: it's true Riley. R: why won't anybody tell me!? M: he will tell you went he is ready OK!? R: ugh fine let's go.
(On the subway)
Josh starts texting me.
J: heyo! M: hey riles is going nuts. Lucas will be the death of her. J: poor guy. You doing anything tonight? M: I dunno am I? J: answer the question. M: oh fine not unless you are taking me out. J: so you are doing something tonight.
M: what shall we do? J: I have no idea. But now I have something to think about during class. M: nerd. J: haha you love me! M: yes I do and you are my nerd. I gotta go stupid school help me! J: I'll save you as soon as I'm done with my last class. I'll be waiting on the bench outside Cory's class. M: yay
(Let time skip cause I'm lazy and tired)
J: theres my favourite girl! M: what we doing j: first take these. M: oh flowers you should have gotten me chocolate. J: I'll remember that next time. To the car! M: where are we going!? J: just get in.
M: fine now tell me! J: no I will not until we get there. Good thing you have boots. M: does this involve walking? J: yes it does. M: outside? J: that to but that's it no more information. M: aww you suck! J: lollipops.
J: are you OK you have been laughing for a minute and now you are crying. m: I can't breathe my sides hurt. J: breathe breathe I need you alive! M: OK OK ow my sides. J: here put this on. M: do I have to? J: put the blindfold on woman.
M: then how will I see to walk? J: you'll be able to walk just fine if you trust me. M: well then I guess its a good thing I trust you alot. J: yes it is. OK is it on tight? M: yep j: can you see anything? M: nothing is just black. J: OK wait here for a second.
I hear him park the car. Then I hear him go and open the truck and get something out. Then it gets slamed shut. Then my door opens.
J: my lady m: I can't see anything j: that's the point take my hand. M: okk
Josh shuts my door then I grab onto his arm and follow him. We walk for awhile. I have absolutely no idea where on earth we are going at all. I think we are in a forest. Cause I don't hear any cars.
M: ohh we stopped! J: OK stand here for a second. M: can I take this blindfold off now!? J: wait one more second. M: now!? J: no m: now j: no m: nowww j: yes m: finally!
I rip my blindfold off. I'm stunned this place is so pretty. We are in the forest and there is a little water fall and a little bit of sand. And a pinic table.
J: like it? M: this place is amazing! Uhh why do you have a purse? J: its a messenger bag! M: yeah okk what's in it? J: a drawing kit. I heard you can draw anything so can you draw this place? M: yeah I think I can do that.
I start drawing I sketch it out then I add detail. I even put josh in there. If you ask me I think I did a pretty good job it just needs color.
J: wait is that a picture in black and white!? M: haha nope. J: that is almost scary how good you draw. M: you think so? J: I think this should be everywhere. Maya hunter the best artist known to this century.
After I'm done with my picture well until I get home. We eat then stay until sunset. Then Josh takes me home he won't shut up about how good I draw. He walks me to the door then kisses me goodnight.
I stay up for awhile working on my drawing a bit more. Then I flop into bed. I believe in time travel cause when I wake up it'll be a different day.
