Maya's POV Monday
As soon as I told Riley that I wanted to elope shes been freaking out on me. I don't see what the big deal is. I just want it to be simple and fast.
*flash back*
R: WHAT ELOPE NO YOU CAN'T! M: why not? R: YOU HAVE TO HAVE A WEDDING! M: give me one good reason. R: if you elope uhh m: you just want to be my maid of honour.
R: we talked about our weddings since we were little and before we even knew what one was! M: why do I have to have one? R: cause you do. M: you're not going to stop bugging me until I give in to having a wedding are you?
R: the sooner you give in the sooner we can start planning. M: I swear riles. R: soo where do you want to have your wedding? M: I never said anything about giving in. R: but you are going to give in anyways so let's just cut to the chase.
M: you know me to well. R: is this you giving in? M: yeah sure fine I give in I surrender. R: YAY!
*end of flash back*
After I gave into Riley. She and topanga and my mom started talking all about where it could be and bridesmaids dresses. What color the wedding theme should be. What color ties the guys should wear. Inside, outside, should it be big or little.
Which month it should be in. Where the reception should be. How many people are we going to invite. Who should come to the it. Then they got onto the topic of my wedding dress and how i should do my hair. After that they started talking about the honeymoon.
Oh yay me. Wha am I getting myself into!? Anyways its Monday and after school me and Josh are looking at apartments. So I do the usual. Once I get Riley she starts talking to me about the wedding again.
I eventually just zone out completely. When we have breaks in between our classes she talks about it again. She started talking about the invitations, the flowers, anything and everything you could think of she thought about it.
Before she could talk to me some more. I rushed out of school the second that bell rang. I don't think I've ever ran out of school that fast before in my life. I ran all the way to meet Josh at Topanga's.
J: hey what did you do I'll go get you some water sit down!
I sat down by the window. Trying to catch my breath. Josh handed me a bottle of water and I drank all of it pretty fast. Then I waited for a few seconds before I could breathe normally again.
J: what did you do!? M: I ran straight here to get away from Riley because she wouldn't shut up about planning the wedding. J: annoying you that much? M: you have no idea. J: ready to go? M: yeah
We get there meet the last. She seems nice. She showed us around. There was 2 bedrooms a bathroom. Kitchen dining room and a living room. It was a pretty nice size. She seemed like she would rent to us. We checked out a few other ones they were pretty much the same as the first one we saw.
Josh got a call from the first lady saying if we wanted to we can have the apartment. Josh is going to move in then I'll move in after we are married.
We started talking about when to set a date. We were thinking about August maybe September. Somewhere in there. That should enough time to get this wedding stuff sorted out right?
