Maya's POV
( le time skip a week cause why not)
I roll over to a snoring Riley. She snores so loud. I check the time it's 6:45. How dare she wake me up and sunch an ungodly hour. Well I'm awake now and I won't be able to fall back to sleep.
I roll back over to my side of the bed. I reach for my phone. why is the floor so far away from the bed. I turn it on the screen blinded me. It's like looking into the sun. I grab my earbuds put them in then put my music on shuffle.
I don't know what to do and I want to talk to someone so I text Josh.
M: hey m: talk to me m: why won't you love me m: text me you loser! M: Joshua is typing... Joshua is typing... TYPE FASTER MISTER! J: oh my god this better be good waking me up at 7 on a Saturday someone better be dying.
M: yay you love me again! Nope no one is dying. Although if Riley doesn't stop snoring there will be someone dead. J: I didn't know I stopped loving you and don't murder my niece! M: I wouldn't be able to.
J: well since I'm up and you are bored out of your mind meet me at topangas. M: does that mean I'll have to help you work? J: maybeee m: I don't care I'll be there in a few.
I sneak out of Riley's bed really quietly. I change fast. Then open the window as quietly as humanly possible. I shut it then head down the fire escape and race over to the cafe.
I get there before Josh. So I go to the back door and grab the spare key under the dumpster. I let myself in then relock the backdoor. I go over and hide behind the counter. I wait 5 minutes until I hear the door jiggling.
I peek over and its Josh. I wait until he unlocks the door and enters.
M: PUT YOUR HANDS UP PUT THEM WERE I CAN SEE THEM PUT THEM UP! J: WHAT THE HECK! Don't scare me like that! M: kinda the point. J: you are evil! M: I know its a gift! J: how did you even get it? M: spare key genius.
J: don't suppose that you would help me open this place. M: Nah you are on your own. J: you suck! M: I can live with that. What do you have to do anyways? J: uh flip the sign put the chairs back on the ground. Make fresh coffe and put the new stuff up.
M: I can help you get started. J: you are going to flip the sign aren't you? M: its like you know me. J: funny stuff that is.
(Time skip)
(Maya's cell starts buzzing) J: your phone is buzzing. M: who is it? J: Riley M: you answer it she is gonna flip on me. J: oh fine.
(Speaker phone) r: where did you go Maya!? J: what's a Maya? R: uncle Josh? J: why hello I bet you wonder why I had someone tell you to call me on this number. R: you are so weird. J: that is true.
R: where is Maya!? J: don't worry she's safe she's with me. R: then where are you? J: what's your moms name? R: topanga j: look at that you just figured out where we are. R: OK but mom says that Katy won't be able to make it in she's to sick. J: OK I got it.
R: tell Maya to get her butt back her. J: no never she is mine forever. R: no she's not I found her first! J: to bad she's mine now. R: nooo agony give her backkk j: no you got to have her all your life. M: come down here riles. That way I can hang with both of you. R: oh fine I'll be there after I'm done eating.
J: aww but I don't wanna share you are day. M: yeah well you got a job and my mom can't make it in to work so we will need backup. J: true when did you get so smart? M: whatever.
