I was talking with Kai and making sure that she was okay 

Y/n: Hey are you still alive?

Kai: Yes believe it or not I won't die from a cold 

I placed my hand on her forehead and felt that her temperature was going back to normal 

Y/n: It looks like your temperature is going back to normal 

Kai: Thanks for making sure I'm okay

Y/n: I'm the reason why you got sick so I will be sure that you are okay 

Kai: You promised me a story from your past 

Y/n: I did Alright let me pour some water and then I'll tell you a story 

I grabbed a cup of water and sat down with Kai

Y/n: You want early life or more recent 

Kai: start from the beginning 

Y/n: Alright. I was living in the forest nation in a house by myself and I forced myself to train almost every day. One day I went to train and met a very odd old man he was kind and taught me how to be better at bending. he gave me advice and taught me how to make tea which is why I make it so often however 

Kai: Oh that's why you threatened to throw me in the water again 

Y/n: Do you want to hear the story 

Kai: Yeah I want to 

Y/n: Then shut up. That old man wasn't just some random old man he was former General Iroh a hero to the fire nation during a time. He went on a campaign to take over ba sing se and he is the brother of the current fire lord. One day after a while I forgot how long it was Iroh came to visit again however this time his brother the fire lord came to see what his brother was up to what he saw was a boy who had blue flames. He was impressed and made me fight his daughter. I won the fight and was offered a place in the palace. I took it and then became friends with the prince and made some more friends. I ended up becoming friends with the princess and we have an ongoing rivalry 

Kai: Then what 

Y/n: That's a bit later however short version of that is Iroh and Zuko were banished. I was left with Azula and the fire lord. I wouldn't eat for a while and just focused on my training. I was told that I was an idiot and then started to eat again. I got promoted and then was tasked to track you down 

Kai: Sounds rough buddy 

Y/n: It was 

I looked at my hand and conjured a black flame 

Y/n: This ability of mine still needs work its incomplete 

Kai: Seems strong to me 

Y/n: It's missing a few components however I can still manipulate it if I focus 

I forced the flames to come out and felt the flame's low heat 

Kai: How do you make it stronger

Y/n: I have to pass a trial 

Kai: There's a trial 

Y/n: Yeah I need to master this flame before then 

Kai: Seems fun 

Y/n: It won't be 

Kai: Okay I have no clue how to talk to you 

Y/n: Sorry I just suck at talking to people
