  Jade-
I woke up when I heard the birds chirping and I felt a jacket around me. I smiled when I realized it was Shoto's. I made coffee and walked outside. I inhaled deeply, taking in the cool air of Kueria in the morning. "Oooh, coffee." Hanta said, sipping mine.
I pulled it closer to me. "My coffee, get your own." I said, and he gave me a playful glare as he made his own coffee. "This place...it's beautiful isn't it?" I asked.
  "Yeah, it is." Hanta said.
I smiled as everyone else slowly woke up. We had breakfast and met in the settlement center like always. "How is the satellite dish turned electromag elevator going?" Bakugo asked, sarcastically.
"Really well actually, for your information... negative Nelson. I just have to add in the wires and program the chip for The Ark and then we should be good to go." I said.
  "Nice!" Yo exclaimed.
"This means we'll be able to get eyes inside of The Ark." Kiri said.
  "Right." I said.
"Hopefully we can get them all here to Arcadia and start thriving." Shoto said.
  "That's the goal." I said.
"I mean hopefully they aren't bad people." Midoriya said.
"Yeah, that would suck." Tetsu said, and we all 8 chuckled.
We finished breakfast and I continued to work on my project.

  Sero-
"I saw you last night, you know?" Shoto asked.
  "Huh?" I asked.
Shoto chuckled, dusting his hands off and kinda showing off his muscular biceps. "Last night, I saw you eavesdropping." Shoto said.
"Oh...haha, that. Yeah I...I couldn't sleep so I went on a walk and when I saw the lantern still on in the shack...I couldn't help it. I'm sorry man, I know that stuff was...hella personal and you being vulnerable with her was extremely rare for you." I said.
"Hey, I'm not even mad. Just as long as you didn't tell anyone." Shoto said.
  I smiled. "Not a word, I promise." I said.
Shoto smiled. "For what it's worth, I'm nothing like my family...if that helps." Shoto said.
I smiled. "I know." I said, and I told him all the same stuff I told Jade the day before when we were getting the satellite dish.
"Wow...that's...I'm sorry man, that's sad." Shoto said.
"You're not bad Shoto, in fact I think you and I will get along just fine." I said, grabbing my walkie and bag.
"You about to head out?" Shoto asked.
"Yeah, I'm headed to go get more wood and map more areas." I said.
"Mind if I join you?" Shoto asked.
"Not at all." I said, and the two of us headed out to go map the land and collect wood.
"Wow! Where did you learn to draw like that. It's so detailed." Shoto said.
"My dad made me take art classes, not the worst thing he did, but it was still torture cause if the drawing wasn't exact or perfect..." I began.
"They beat and whipped you?" Shoto asked.
  "Yeah." I said.
"That's what my mom did when I answered my questions wrong during practice lessons." Shoto said.
"Yeesh, parents right?" I asked, and Shoto chuckled.
"Parents...and families." Shoto said, and I laughed, he smiled at me and laughed along with me.
"Where did you learn to fight? I mean, aside from Gray?" I asked.
"Uh, Keigo was actually the one that taught me how to fight before I met Gray. My dad also taught me to fight and how to take a hit. He beat me all the time when it was training time in the dojo at the castle, but I learned a lot about martial arts and weapons. That's the only good thing that came out of it, learning how to fight." Shoto said.
"It's the same for me in my dad's cult." I said.
"Yeah, you're a really good fighter. But so is everyone else in our group." Shoto said.
"I think it's just cause all of us have been through a lot." I said.
"Can I ask you a personal question?" Shoto asked.
"Sure, we already know each other pretty well." I said.
"How do you feel about Bakugo?" Shoto asked.
"He's noisy, loud, obnoxious, rude, sarcastic, and a great fighter...but I just don't know about him. He seems like a decent guy, but he rubs me the wrong way sometimes. Maybe that's just cause he doesn't know how to...people." I said.
"I don't like him." Shoto said, and I laughed.
"I've noticed, the two of you butt heads all of the time." I said.
"Yeah, Kiri always pulls us apart...but sometimes I want to punch him in his smug face." Shoto said.
I laughed out loud. "I'd really like to see that!" I exclaimed, and Shoto laughed right along with me.
I wiped my eyes. "Oh man, I haven't laughed this hard in years, thank you Shoto." I said.
"It's the same for me, thanks Hanta." Shoto said.
I nodded, and we headed back to Arcadia to restock. As more time passed, Shoto and I became really close friends, I considered him my best friend.
One day, we were walking together to the shack to check on the progress. "Jade, how goes it?" Shoto asked.
"I overestimated how hard electromag suspension is, I can't get the stupid dish to hover." Jade said.
"Have you tried laser guiding it?" I asked.
"That would require me to take a flashlight and change the frequency of light to be infrared and then rewire—*Shoto pulls out a flashlight and hands it to Hanta* Oh, I see what you're saying now." Jade said, and I smiled as I handed her a flashlight.
Shoto and I headed out to leave her to do her thing. Shoto and I were walking around Arcadia, checking on things as more and more progress got made. "Hanta...I think you and I have become pretty close." Shoto said.
"I'm one to agree." I said.
Shoto shuffled through his pocket and pulled out a silver necklace with a silver sword charm that had a blue gem in the middle of the sword charm's hand guard. "My adoptive mom, Ryuko, gave me these necklaces. One is for my lover, I guess, I dunno it's what Jade said. And the other one is for my best friend, so...this is a token of my appreciation to you for being my closest friend Hanta...thank you." Shoto said.
I smiled and took the necklace, putting it on. "Your best friend huh, looks like we were on the same page." I said, playfully punching his bicep and pulling out two rope bracelets. A yellow and black one and then a blue and black one. "I got board and made you one. It's a token of my appreciation for being my closest friend." I said, and he smiled, and we came up with a secret handshake in the spot (Ned and Peter's from Tom Holland's Spider-Man trilogy).
