"The importance of conversation is to answer when someone talks you know," the youngest out of the trio-Tauryn corrected as she sat across from her sisters with a pout. Tauryn had taken a break from her homework to bond with her sisters since this was the first time she had seen them all day.

Jordan, the oldest of the girls, looked up at her sister once she took a break from typing away on her phone before smirking and continuing to text, most likely the person she was texting was her son's father.

"Of course, you're not listening to me, you never do," Tauryn spat, rolling her eyes. 1

"You know she doesn't pay attention to anything or anyone unless it has something to do with Isaac," Alexis, the middle and most mature sister said. "I'm listening to you Ta, I honestly don't understand why they have you writing discussion boards on things we don't care about. It's not like the people who read it care either and then they dare to want it to be in a certain amount of words."

"It's bullshit if you ask me."

Tauryn looked at Alexis with relief once she realized someone had been listening to her. Alexis sent her a closed-mouthed smile before her attention fell back onto her book. Alexis was a great reader and enjoyed it more than anything in the world, it was honestly her favorite hobby. This month she had her focus on "Manifest: 7 Steps to Living Your Best Life" (Nafousi, 2022)

The piercing cries of Jordan's two-month-old son, Isaiah, went throughout their home as Tauryn and Alexis locked eyes. Jordan was their big sister and they loved her to death but she was the prime example of wanting the man more than the baby. Her head was so far up Isaac's ass she could barely breathe.

"Jordan?" Alexis called out as Jordan attempted to smile and type away at her phone. Reaching over, Alexis snatched the phone from Jordan's grasp, "You don't hear him crying?"

Jordan looked up from her phone as she rolled her eyes before stretching from the couch. "Ta, can you babysit Isaiah tonight?" Jordan quickly asked before disappearing up the stairs to tend to her son.

Tauryn began to think about what her answer should be considering she was filled up to her nose with assignments that were due tomorrow night. She was in her second semester of nursing school and needed to stay focused.

Jordan's phone that was now on the table began to go off continuously indicating that she had text messages coming through as she pranced down the stairs with Isaiah tight in her arms.

"Hi Papa," Alexis immediately called out as she closed her book and reached out for Isaiah. Jordan handed her son to her sister before looking at Tauryn. "So what do you say, Ta?"

Ta looked down at her phone to catch what the time was. It was ten minutes past nine and she wondered where Jordan was going this late on a Thursday night.
