original poem I made on April 9th 2024

We are kids playing tag with no care in the world but then realisation hits when you're sitting on your bed remembering that as an old memory. "we will be friends for ever" a phrase that was said with no meaning. A phrase said with no emotion behind it. It feels like your stomach is an empty pit. Your mind is caving in like how you hugged me tight. I just didn't know it would be the last hug before the giant fight. I'm going to bed with the last thought in my mind. Just seeing your sight, makes me wanna cry. Is this a goodbye? Go on and talk to your friends all night. I wish it was me but at the same time I wish you would have never said bye. So now it's my turn. Goodbye, take care.
