If it wasn't such a serious moment, i would have busted out laughing at the sight of Alice screaming something that sounded suspiciously like a Japanese Kamikaze cry, while sliding down the grappling hook. Okay, so I did bust out laughing, but so what? It was rrrreeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaallllllllyyyyyyyy funny! You would have too!

After she got down from the grappling hook, and onto the roof, she gave me a thumbs-up, and I retrieved my axe, and pulled the grappling hook back into the coil, before re-hooking it into my belt. Floyd pulled out his Assault Rifle and started to mow them down as they came in. I (stupidly) forgot to bring an extra mag, or two for my intervention, and I was almost out of bullets in my original. I decided to save what few rounds i had left, so I brought out my Katana. Floyd cast an uncertain look my way, thinking I was joking. As soon as it became apparent that I was serious he started to ask me what I thought I was doing.

"See ya in Hell," was my only response as I back-flipped (Yes, Floyd, apparently I strive to one up your every comment) off the roof.

Okay, so back-flipping off a two story building while carrying an unsheathed Katana, was not my best idea, but then again, that scar did look sweet! Short story, even shorter, it made a really deep slice along my left arm... and it hurt, alot. I took of my shirt and tied it over the wound, and that, I'm sure, made me look even hotter. I took a couple swings at the rotting corpses, as I made my way over to Jennifer. I cleared out the rest of the zombies. I finally got over to where she was, and gave her a huge hug. After a long tight embrace, she broke away, and I don't know what compelled me too, but I leaned in, and kissed her.

It was one of the best moments of my life. An almost imperceptble cough made us tear apart, red faced. "Uhh, I thought we might leave soon," Floyd stammered.

I just looked down mummering something along the lines of 'okay', and followed him.

We made our way back to the bus silencing any Undead who dared to come by us. A rather akward silence took over, as we made our way into The Ahnialator (Oh yes, I just named a bus 'The Ahnialator!). Jennifer suddenly stopped, and showed us her arm, where a bite mark was prominent. "One of them got me," she announced.

"Soak it in warm water for a while, and then wrap it up, and it should heal quite fast," Floyd said, looking rather preoccupied.

"Whats wrong," I asked him, in a whisper.

"I need to talk to you alone," was all he said. He then countinued in a louder voice," Alice, go help Jen take care of her arm.

I followed him into another room, and waited for a second before asking, "What? Whats wrong?"

"Do you remember when I told you that I was in a cabin, that was taken over by renagade soldiers, and how I was the only one who made it out?"

"Yeah, of course," I replied, "Why?"

"Well thoose renagade soldiers didn't just die, they turned into zombies... when they were bit."

"Wait, so then that means," I hesitated, "Jennifer...?"

"I think so," he confirmed.

"But then how are we going to tell..."

"Mabye we shouldn't"

"Hey, guys," Jennifer stopped when she saw our serious faces, "What's wrong?".

"Uhh, nothing", I lied, "we were just thinking you should rest for a while to help your arm heal." It was obvious that she could tell we were lying, but we couldn't take any more tension, and she knew it.
