The Curse of Curtain City: The Unraveling Threads

In ancient times there were families in "Curtain City" who used to be blessed with different abilities like strength, intelligence, and luck. They are humans but carry these types of blessed powers that humans also have. But they had it at an extreme level which helped them to protect themselves from the evil energy. The others started to call them the "Sacred" families. They didn't have any surnames, they were only known by their names and their house number. The outside world was unfamiliar to them. Only a few learn about them.

Besides that city, there was another city called "Window City" whose people could contain those powers in high range. The Window City's people had a skill by which they could live a normal life but they were weak by strength. They started to be called the "Keeper" family. To maintain a balance they started to start a rule. Any one child of the Sacred family will get married to the Keeper's family. This will happen after every four years. And things were going smoothly as they all agreed on that. They helped people to be more developed in life with their intelligence of understanding, luck of bringing good memories, and helping with the works by strength.

But one of the family members of "Curtain City" committed a deadly sin. The person makes a deal with some evil men to trade his son's power instead of money. It was written in their ancient book that if anyone misused the power then a curse would be placed upon them and the other city too. The person makes the crime hide from the city's people, even from his family.

The son who was traded started to kill people with his intelligence according to his master's wish. Soon the boy started to get the popularity of being strongest. When the family found out they went to take him back but it was too late. They saw the son was already gone into the dark world. The family tries to kill him as it's the only they can do but the boy has already become more powerful than them. He suddenly started killing his own family's children so no one could come into this world to kill him. Because he knew well that if there is a curse, there is a blessing too. Slowly the people of both cities started to get afraid of his ruthless activity. They were getting helpless as the children were dying. The powers were dying.

The families went to a famous priest of the city, who was living in another city at that time. The priest suggested a simple rule but it is difficult to follow. The priest gave them a magical thread which can become more if you pull that thread. The priest asks them to make more threads out of that one. This thread which looks like a rainbow color will protect their families as it's a holy thread made of many blessing powers. But they have to make the child wear a thread right after they are born and when they become 20, they need to get married to each other. The thread will only connect their powers with each other but they will still be powerful from the inside. They can't kill that boy until there is a family whose each generation carries the Sacred power. But the boy won't be able to touch the chosen ones which is why he will become weak before them.

According to the ancient book, wearing the thread makes them married in their world but for the outside world, they need to do this formality of marriage. It becomes weird as it is decided who will get married from childhood. For a long time, the families have been doing it. The boy wasn't able to harm anyone and started to get calm. Only those who were bound to get married, they can only wear the thread.

But the generation's aura was changing day by day and people started to believe in technology and science. Everyone likes to live their own life. Some were in favor of the thread and some were against it. Because they didn't see any harm for many years which makes them believe there is no one. But the boy was getting stronger even doing nothing and waiting for an opportunity. That's where the mistake happened that day.

11 years earlier. In "Curtain City". On a rainy day, a man came to a house running. A joint family was living there. A boy who was 10 years old was playing outside the house. The man came and looked at the boy's hand which had a thread tied there. He takes that boy inside the house. Women were sitting in the center area and working on some household chores. Everyone came listening to that man's voice.
