Kate pulled up at the building, seeing it wasn't up to much. She had expected Matt to be in some kind of fancy building, but this place looked like it was falling down, in the middle of Harlem.

Inside the building, was just as bad as the outside. There was a few chairs outside the door, but she pushed it open, after looking at the name on the glass door, Nelson and Murdock. When she stepped inside, there was one person sat on the chairs to the side, looking up at the new person coming in, and the receptionist who looked up when Kate walked in.

"You got an appointment?" She questioned.

"Sorry, no, I was hoping to speak to Matt, quickly"

"I'm sorry, but he is very busy at the moment" The blonde said.

The door then opened.

"I have five minutes now Karen"

Kate looked around, finding Matt standing there, looking out into the space. He hadn't changed, he still looked so handsome. Causing her heart to flutter a little, before she calmed herself down.

"Miss Jones, how are you?" He called out there.

Every time he done something like this, it still shocked her.

"I'm well Mr Murdock" She stepped forward, and walked into the room, as he closed the door behind them.

"It's been a while" He commented.

"It has" She replied. "How are you?"

"Doing well"

"I figured you would be out there in a big lawyer's firm, fighting bit time criminals"

He chuckled, as he perched on the desk.

"I'm happy with our little firm. Fogey is doing well, and Karen runs this like she was born into it" He explained. "And I hear you have moved up in the world as well, becoming a full Shield agent, working alongside Director Fury"

"Have you been checking up on me?" She blushed.

"Not particularly, your name crossed something I had been working on"

This confused her, about to open her mouth and ask questions, stopping herself, thinking he wouldn't be able to explain, since he was a lawyer.

"What can I do for you?" He then asked.

"This isn't lawyer related Matt, this is something else, but I need to know everything you can on Wilson Fisk"

If Matt had looked surprised about her turning up like this, it was nothing compared to how he looked now at her request.

"Fisk?" He asked. "Why?"

Kate sighed.

"I really can't tell you that"

He looked around the room.

"I don't know what you want me to say Kate"

"The truth"

He got up from the desk, stopping and turning his back on her for a moment, like he was thinking about it.

"You know your dad already called me on this, right?"

"Why?"

He looked back at her.

"I can't discuss that here. Why don't we meet later?" He then said.

"I don't have time Matt, I have to get this done now"

He sighed, then nodded.

"Karen" He called out.
