The disturbed peace of Corva shook the town from the recent events as various villagers aided each other, word traveled around quickly about the escaped Pack Back.

Within the city center stood an glistening cobblestone palace where a king and queen stood from their curved window witnessing all that was happening beneath them. The king holding papers in his hands as he glared at the headline that read "Carnage in Corva?" his face brimmed with concern as the queen clopped towards him in her heels placing her slim hand on his brisk and stiff shoulders. "this is an outrage, one little creature escapes and all of a sudden it's mass panic?!" he turned to her with a stern look consuming his face. "look at it this way deary, we are protected here and we have the strongest forces known to man, besides whatever happens out there to our people we must tackle this situation respectfully and lawfully" she infomed the king while circling her fingers around his hand.

The king looked up to her and smiled as he acknowledged his wife's words "you are correct my dear" a strong enticing aroma began to fill the room "I believe our feast is prepped my lord, would you care to join?" the king lowered the papers on his throne as he took his queen's hand and followed her to the chamber doors and both made their way to the dining room to which they were met with delicacies as far as the eye could see. Crimson apples, wine, a golden  brown chicken, roasted potatos that had been freshly cooked any mere mortal would kill for a wide spread of food like this every night however for royals such as these this was a miniscule appetizer to them. Four guards were perched in armor standing motionless in each corner of the room while a transparent mural window had the sun glistening through shining a triangular beam at the table almost giving the chicken an angelic blessing.

The queen gracefully sat upon the tall throne like chairs as she flattened part of her dress as she sat down while the king knelt forward grasping both of the arm rest as he made contact with his seat. They both began to dine down on the feast that lay before them clinking their wine glasses as the Rosé wine slid down their throat with light gulps. Midway through their meal a knock eminated the halls the king boomed "enter" the doors creaked open as a guard stepped into the room as he witness the disturbance he had just caused "apologies for the interuption my lord, however there is someone here that wishes to speak to you" the queen turned to her husband with confusion, "guests, now?" the king tiltled his head and chuckled as he reassured her that he wasn't aware of this "can this wait? As you can see now isn't really the time" the guard shook his head in denial.

Disgruntled, he stood up from his seat and kissed his wife on the head as he uttered that he shall return soon and followed the guard out of the dining room.

The guard lead the king to the lounge area where he was greeted with Flare, he stood by the door as he entered "Flare, my boy so good to see you I didn't know you were coming" he stated with such joy as he welcomed the bounty hunter in open arms as he held him tightly. "had I known it was you who was in my presence, I wouldn't have to instate an execution and with how things are they are oh so messy these days" he dusted off Flare's sleeves with his hands with such delight "it is nice to see you my lord, however you and I both know why i'm here" the king hastily hushed his mouth "not so loud, these guards tend to be a bit slow" he clicked at the guard who waited at the door and highlighted that all will be fine to which the guard accepted and proceeded to leave the room with a light thud of the door.

The king turned to Flare with a vile punch to the mouth causing him to stumble backwards "are you out of your mind?! You let a beast get away?" Flare recovered swiping a bit of blood off of his mouth, he stepped closer to Flare with slow tense footsteps as the jewellery around him began to clink and clang. "my lord we will assure you, I have the best of the best here we didn't expect things to go like this" the king wrapped his seemingly giant hand around Flare's throat "that's not what it looked the other day now did it?" the calm cool collected nature of the king had now exasperated and Flare was staring right at an image of the devil in the kings eyes, he held his head by a fireplace but only so much that Flare could feel the light heat "these little freaks of nature you have are stopping us from achieving evolution and the chance to expand our perfect village, that's why I pay you to deal with them, it won't be long before people start asking me questions about you disgraceful wastes of space" Flare could feel the grip on his head getting tighter.

"we assure you my lord, no one will know, that was our deal" the king pulled Flare's head closer to his mouth "keep it like that" he released the back of Flare's head as he scurried to a far corner away from the king as he watched with vengence in his eyes. The king revealed a detailed cloth from the table and handed it to Flare to which he took to wipe the bruises off of his mouth. He took a deep breath rose his index finger and spoke in an abnormal tone "7 moons, that mutt, here" Flare understood what was being demanded of him as he began to leave the room before being halted by the king once more "don't screw this up for the second time" he opened the door and watched as Flare left the room.

He left the palace with the cloth placed firmly on his mouth as he approached various other hunters "what the fuck happened to you in there?" one of them asked "doesn't matter get the others together, we leave at this moon's wake" he stared back at the palace.

7 moons, that mutt, here.
