Most of what was left of the day was a blur for Elis, her sister had set some water aside for her to clean up and when she was done sat her down to style her hair. It was the first time Elis had done anything with her hair so she was skeptical about it but apparently sisters had magical hands because she was sure for a minute that it was someone else sitting in front of the mirror when it was over.

"Where did you learn how to do this?" She gasped, turning her head this way and then twisting around to give her sister an incredulous look.

"Here and there," Sara smirked proudly laying the brush she had in her hand down on the table. "Now for the dress."

Elis eyed the dress warily where it hung,"Is it really okay for me to wear that?" She asked, still unsure about the whole thing. She hadn't seen Zorg since he left the room and couldn't ask him, not that she was in a rush to.

Better to put it off as much as possible.

        "Why wouldn't it be?"

"It's alright I guess," Erin sighed. "he's not going to make me do something I don't want to right?"

"Something..." Sara frowned seeing where this was going, she came around and took her sister's hand squatting so she could be level with her

"If that ever happens, there's no need for you to stay on, you can always..."

"Come home." Erin echoed squeezing her sister's hand.

"I know, i just...I'm just afraid to have a bad experience"

So afraid.

N"Not that it matters if you don't want to go on with this but, I don't think he's that sort"

Erin nodded at her sister's words willing the tears that sprung up back. She did want to look vulnerable, didn't want to get off on the wrong foot with the orc. It wasn't like she had a choice, he'd paid a dowry for a wife and it did not matter how terrified she was. She had to do it, there was no two ways about it.

"You really think he's okay?" She asked hopefully.

"Yes, my dear. I think he is" Sara chuckled, her heart full of love for her sister. She had prayed that it would all work out for her and she would be happy and protected.

        "I'll wear the dress then".

It was beautiful. Elis didn't think she had ever looked that beautiful, she was certainit was the dress. It was green, off shoulder with long sleeves and single good band just below her chest, the rest of it flowed loosely down to her feet. It was the prettiest thing she had ever seen and she wasn't sure if she did the dress justice.

"It's wonderful Ellie," Sara crooned, stepping back to get a full view.

        "Yes it is," Elis murmured.

It really was, but maybe not her.

Sara reached out and smoothened her hair. "You'll wait here until old Tom arrives, and..." She paused not sure how to continue.

        "What's wrong?" Elis asked.

Sara cleared her throat and took her hand again. A lot of sisterly moments going on here.

"I was hoping you'd do me the honor of letting me walk you." She said finally, anxious but there was no reason except this was a pivotal moment in a bride's life and she would understand if her sister wanted it the traditional way.
