[Star Wars] Ahsoka Series Rewrite

Dreams of Madness

The T-6 Jedi Shuttle flies across the night skies of Peridea, and within the starship Ahsoka tends to Sabine while Ezra and Huyang sit at the cockpit, the architect droid sharply asking,

"Where exactly are we going-?"

Ezra smiles wearily as he directs the ship towards a massive chasm in the distance,
"Home."

The young Jedi then slowly lowers the T-6 down into the chasm, until he lands it at the bottom of the darkened caverns, with a dozen rocky settlements scattered around the area-

As the ship settles, Ahsoka enters the cockpit and looks out at the hidden village and turns to Ezra curiously,
"What is this place?"

Ezra gets up before sighing, "This is where I've been living for... however long it's been- c'mon, I'll show you."

On the way out, Ezra picks up the unconscious Sabine and as he and Ahsoka walk out the T-6, Huyang calls out,
"I'll stay here in case you need anything!"

Ahsoka takes a moment to look around at the native small creatures peaking at them from afar before turning her attention to Sabine's unmoving form,
"What happened to her-?"

Ezra frowns in disappointment, "The witches did something to her... just to lure me in."

Ahsoka lays her hand on Sabine's forehead,
"I can tend to her once I find a safe space-"

Ezra nods in agreement before asking cautiously,
"I'm glad you found me, but I'd like to know what's been going on back in our galaxy- I have questions- around ten years' worth."

Ahsoka looks over Ezra's fatigued appearance,
"Not yet. Whatever ritual they were doing has taken much of your energy- I will tell you everything once you rest."

The Togruta former Jedi moves to take hold of Sabine, but Ezra hesitantly pulls back,
"I can't- I'm not resting until I know if Sabine is ok."

Ahsoka gently places her hands over Ezra's,
"You need to trust her to me Ezra Bridger. I have been looking over Sabine since I returned- let me help her now."

Ezra gives Ahsoka a look of mixed feelings before gently placing Sabine in her arms and them proceeds to point to a cavern nearby,
"Those are my sleeping quarters- I have an extra one not too far away I can use- go."

Before Ahsoka enters the cavern filled will lanterns, she calls out to Ezra in the distance,
"What were those Dathomiri witches doing Ezra?"

"I can't say for certain, but I think they wanted to take my life essence to become stronger."
Ezra says in a slightly grim voice,
"I can only imagine the reasons...I'm just glad you came when you did."

...

Within the personal office of Thrawn within the star destroyer, the Chimaera, the Chiss former Grand Admiral looks over numerous datapads when Morgan Elsbeth and the three very much alive Great Mothers enter the room.

Thrawn moves his red eyes to face Morgan before uttering calmly,
"Report."

"Ahsoka Tano's unexpected arrival has caused substantial damage to the Eye of Sion's main hyperdrive- it will be impossible to repair under these circumstances."
Elsbeth says in a quiet cold voice.

The Chiss stands up slowly before turning his attention to a holographic report flickering on,
"If I am not mistaken, your ally Baylan Skoll personally assured me of this Jedi's death on Seatos."

Morgan remains silent until Thrawn continues,
"I must ask, if Skoll cannot handle this Ahsoka Tano, what use does he serve? Do we still require a sacrifice to honor our agreement, Great Mothers?"
