"My name is Daisy Browne, and thank you for letting me hang out with ya'll tonight,  You're all so amazing, I love you all so, so much!" The wide grin was slapped on Daisy's face as she exited the massive stage at Lumen Field in Seattle; just as the sun was starting to set, coating the packed stadium with pinky-orange light.

as she strutted off the stage to her exit music, she scanned the VIP tent once more-- as if she hadn't been doing so for the last ten minutes.

no henry.

the second she was safely backstage, Daisy couldn't control the way her face dropped.

He said he'd be here.

It was her first show opening for THE Taylor Swift's eras tour, and her fiancèe hadn't shown up to watch her perform.

She knew he was a busy man, but he'd promised her.

her legs worked on autopilot as she walked into her dressing room.

she grabbed her phone from where it lay on her vanity and scrolled up to check the notifications.

Daisy hated the way her heart swelled with hope as she saw "one iMessage notification from H ♥︎" displayed in the notification center

she tapped on the text and read it carefully

hey d, i don't know how to tell you this but this wedding is over. Im breaking it off. I'm sorry, it was never gonna work out anyways. I'm done with this relationship and i just dont love you as much anymore and a divorce would be more complicated and you deserve to marry someone who loves you back. i blocked and deleted your number so no use texting back. also I've called the venue and caterers but if you could cancel everyone else that'd be helpful since i dont have time to deal with all that shit. i hope you (& g) have nice shows tonight. I hope you have fun, etc. tell taylor i say hi!

the breath left Daisy's lungs before she finished reading the message.

it felt like a movie-- like she was watching from the outside as her heart shattered.

her throat stung for a minute as she checked to make sure the door to her dressing room was closed before she gave into the tears.

Daisy collapsed against the side of the couch and buried her face as she yanked at her thick blonde hair as she cried.

she could barely breathe from trying to sob as quietly as possible so the dressing rooms next to hers- Gracie's and Taylor's couldn't hear.

Daisy sobbed, her mind screaming all the words she couldn't say. her face was covered in snot and she knew her makeup was beyond ruined.

how could he?

what had she done?

why. why why why. why did he leave?

he was her forever. her one.

fuck. how much shit had he talked about her to Gracie?

what had Daisy done wrong?

suddenly, Daisy heard her door creak open

"oh my god," someone said softly and Daisy whipped her head around, her gaze landing on none other than her now ex-fiancee's sister. "Daisy" Gracie whispered, almost breathless as she sat down next to the heartbroken blonde girl

"what happened? Did something happen on stage?" Gracie said, trying to get to the root cause of why her friend was sobbing on the floor

"acting like you don't already know, woah gracie. that's real sweet" Daisy snapped in between sobs
