Part 5

~Spring break week~

Me and Kate were on the plane headed to texas.. She had fallen asleep a little a while ago and was now resting on my shoulder. I was watching a show on the screen of the plane. It was actually pretty interesting. We only had a few more minutes left on the plane. I planned to wake her up as soon as we got a little bit closer. Im actually a little nervous to see my family I mean I haven't seen them in a while but I couldn't wait to be in texas with the one i love. I looked down at her resting my head on top of hers. Her hair smelled good kind of like flowers.

Before i knew it the speakers were saying that we were landing. I shook Kate getting her to wake up. She yawned lifting up from my shoulder. "It's already time to get off?" She said stretching. "Yeah, Im so excited, My parents are waiting for us at the airport so don't be too scared if some people come running to us." I say laughing halfway through. The plane had landed everybody got up getting their stuff out. Kate got up first getting mine then her luggage from the bagging at the top. "Thank you Katie." I said leaning into her shoulder. She smirked at me "No problem baby." We both started heading out of the plane in the line behind other passengers.

We got down to the waiting area. I saw my family and my sister with Paige. As we were walking in i could see my sister had saw me and told my parents that i was there. They all came running up. My dad picked me up."My little girl is back!" He said as he put me down. My mom came and gave me a tight hug."Reese I'm so happy to see you. It's felt like forever since I've seen you." She said letting go after a while. My sister and Paige were next they both hugged me at the same time. It wasn't as long as my parents but it still felt good to see them. "Who is this?" My mother pointed towards Kate. "This is my roommate and...Girlfriend mom." I said a little scared but i didn't want to hide it from my family. My sister gasped with her mouth wide opened. My father didn't say anything. "Mom i know-" My mom hugged Kate and me together. "It's okay, No explanation needed. Welcome Kate to the Dunkley family." She said smiling after pulling away from the hug.

My dad had grabbed our luggage smiling. My family was now walking in-front of us. "You didn't have to do that, you know." Kate said to me holding my hand. "No Kate I wanted to I didn't wanna make it this big secret." I said looking up at her. She nodded smiling down at me. "Thank you baby." She said kissing my hand. I smiled leaning into her shoulder. We were finally outside of the airport heading to my sister car. Our luggage was packed in her trunk. My mom and dad came in their car so they would be riding together while i ride with my sister.

"So what do you wanna do now that we're back in Texas?" Camila said getting in the passengers seat since her and Paige decided that Paige would drive. "Whatatburger is miss it so much." I said fake crying. Kate laughed at my fake crying."sure because i wanted some to and its also gonna be Kate's and Paige's first time trying it."ohh you're so right cam!" I hot her shoulder from behind the seat. "So are you ready to try texan food baby?" I said looking at Kate. She was already looking at me with an huge smile on her face. "I am ready to try it." She said leaning into my face, puffing out her lips. I pecked her lips, she looked so cute. "Ew, What the hell Reese." My sister said jokingly annoyed. "What? She's my baby." I said grabbing Kate's face. Kate was literally cheesing." Camila rolled her eyes "yeah whatever dude." Paige laughed and looked at Camila smiling. I let go of Kates face.

We finally go to the whataburger and everybody got out of the car. We all walked in and went to the cashier. The cashier was a blonde haired and blue eyed girl her hair was in a bun. I could tell that she was probably a masc in her everyday wear. She was cute but not cuter than Kate. While Paige,Kate, and Camila were talking i could tell the girl was staring at me. I decided to just ignore it as she was probably just thinking to herself. "Babe, What do you wanna eat?" Kate said looking at me. Dang i was in my head that long. "um, i think 4pc chicken strips are good, and gravy with a barbecue sauce to please." I told the girl at the cashier she smiled at me."I get that all the time." She said occasionally looking up at me from the register. "That'll be 50.96." She said. I forgot how expensive it was too i guess. "I'll pay." Paige said taking out her wallet. "Thank you paige!" Camila said wrapping her arm around paige. Paige looked at Camila smiling. The girl just kept looking at me. Weirdo. I guess Kate caught on because she wrapped her arm around my waist hugging me from behind. Paige had paid for the food finally and we all went to go sit down at a table. "So let's catch up a little guys." Camila said.
