Part 1

(Reese Pov)
I woke up as the sunlight rays came beaming out from my curtains. I stretched as I sat up in bed looking around for my glasses. I usually always woke myself up like this so I never really used an alarm. I yawned as I got up from my bed walking out of my room to the kitchen. I had transferred here in my Junior year of college from UConn. It was a hard change but as soon as I meet Kate I knew everything would be alright. She was the first to come up and say hi to me when I first joined the team.

Anyway I got eggs and bacon out from the refrigerator place it on the counter to get a skillet next. As I was doing all of this I didn't notice that Kate had came out of her room and was now watching me as I paced in the kitchen. She came behind me as i fixed the heat on the oven. She wrapped her arms around my waist."Good morning Reese piece." She had always called me that even last year when she had first meet me. I never bothered much about the nickname."Good Morning Kate." I said as I placed the Bacon on the skillet first."Oh You're making breakfast for the both us?" She asked putting her head on my shoulder."Nope just for me." I said jokingly smiling as I said it. "Dang, Fine then I can make my own breakfast." She said jokingly being angry. As she let go of me from her back hug."Just kidding I'm gonna go take a shower and don't forget we have practice later today." She said as she walked back towards her room."Okay breakfast will be done soon." I said a little over a talking voice.

She was my friend but i always felt a different feeling than being a friend. At first when I saw her I thought she was cute and stuff but i never thought it would be anything other than that. The more I hung out with her the more I started feeling things but I tried to keep them in as much as possible. I wondered if she liked me as much as I liked her but I didn't want to assume anything. If I told her that I liked her and she said no i would be scared for our relationship. I don't ever wanna be uncomfortable with her. So I just keep it to myself.

(Timeskip to breakfast)

I placed each of our plates on the table.She had already been dried off and dressed. I had called her out to eat as i sat down at the table near my plate.She came out of her room sitting down at the table in front of me."So what do you think of us playing UConn tomorrow?" She asked eating her food looking up at me occasionally."Well I feel like we're playing any other team." I said seeing that she was trying to make me say something about Paige. She always seemed to be a little jealous about Paige whenever i mentioned her in a conversation."Hmm." She said humming. I chuckled under my breath."Well What do you want me to say? I mean we already played them last year." I said looking up at her from my plate."Well yeah I guess." She played with her food. I smiled at her. Finishing up my plate "Im gonna go get dressed and shower." I said as I got up putting my plate away. "Also let's go somewhere before practice starts." I say looking back at her as she man spread in her chair."Yeah, Sure." She said looking up at me.
