𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐚𝐛𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 || 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐯𝐞 𝐇𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐨𝐧

ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀ 5: ᴛʜᴇ ꜰʟᴇᴀ ᴀɴᴅ ᴛʜᴇ ᴀᴄʀᴏʙᴀᴛ

The two hid in the shadows at the entrance of Hawkins Lab. They waited for someone to open the door. That's when two scientists left the lab, Y/n watched them walk away and nodded at her dad. They ran around and grabbed the door before it closed, Y/n holding it open for her dad.

They sneak around the halls, peaking around corners before moving. They checked a corner, Hopper motioned Y/n to follow, and they went around. But they suddenly heard people talking. They ducked into a cupboard, hiding opposite sides of the door. They looked at each other as the two people walked past, Y/n nodded slightly at Hopper once they were gone.

They walked around the halls more until they found a corridor that was covered by sheets, not a door, with some sort of radioactive symbol on it.

The father and daughter duo looked at each other before both sighing and unzipping the doors and both stepping through.

Y/n looked around at the white bricked walls that are practically blinding. The hallway led to a brown door, Hopper tried to open it, but it seemed to be locked. He sighed, and Y/n taps him before pointing to a key card slot.

Hopper rolled his eyes before hearing a gun cock behind them "Hands up! Hands up!"

They put their hands up as Hopper said "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa."

"Forgot about all the cameras, bud?" The guy reminded, Y/n seeing a guard behind him.

Then Hopper said "Look, Dr Brenner asked for us specifically. Okay? How else do you think we got in here?"

Hopper scoffs as the guy takes out his walkie "What's your names again?"

"It's Jim Hopper." He scoffed "Chief Jim Hopper."

He spoke into the walkie as Hopper walked towards him subtlely, Y/n putting a hand on the gun in her waistband "I have, uh, Jim Hopp--"

He was cut off by Hoppers fist hitting his face, Hopper grabbing his gun as he did. Y/n and Hopper held their guns up to the guard, Hopper shoving him against the wall and grabbing the gun from his hand, putting it in his pocket.

Y/n noticed the badge on the guards uniform and stepped forward, taking it "Mind if we borrow this a sec? Thanks." She went over to the door and scanned the card "Open sesame." The door opened, making Hopper and Y/n smile.

They both held their guns up to the guard as they backed into the room. After the doors close, Hopper turns and shoots the key card slot on their side.

Hopper turned to Y/n and ruffled her hair "I love you so much."

Y/n smiled "I love you too. Let's go." She replied before they both started heading down the hall.

"Will!" Hopper shouts.

"Will, it's me!" Y/n shouts as well "Will!"

They look in loads of different rooms, both splitting up to look. Y/n went into a room and noticed a teddy bear sitting on the bed, she points her torch up and found a camera pointing at a kids sized bed. This made her frown. She then seen a piece of paper lying on the table next to the bed, at the top it said '003' and then a list of names, a lot of names. Girl names. There was some really nice names too.
