3rd Person POV

The Hotel is locked down and shut down, nobody is allowed in and nobody is allowed out. The kids and Alastors mom have been sent away to a very secret place where they are sure god won't find them. Alastor has a shield around the hotel, will pull some strings and using some connections he has he was able to get a book from heaven about soul keeping, a way to make it so the souls will transfer to something if the body of the soul is killed. They were able to bring Zere back to life but they don't know how much they will be able to do that again. It takes a lot of strength and power. Doing it too much will Kill Alastor. Lucifer will be extremely weakened but he won't die from it.

Everyone is on edge just waiting for something to happen waiting for god to do something.
Alastor is sitting on the floor taking notes while reading the book making sure he's getting every single ounce of information from the book as he can. 'Okay, okay okay I need to do this correctly or the soul will get completely corrupted. Everything is on me, everyone's soils are on me. I need to do this, I need to be perfect.' Lucifer sits next to him "hey" "not right now hun I'm busy" he is glancing back and forth between the book and his notebook as he's writing "I'm sure you can take a break my deer" "no I can't I need to make sure I know exactly what I'm doing. I can't mess up anything about this process because if I do the soul will become corrupt. A corrupt soul isn't pretty." "I know but you're stressing yourself out" "everyone is stressed right now our enemy is god. Honestly this is the only thing keeping me sane, I need to be perfect. I can't mess up I need to be perfect"

Lucifer frowns and grabs the notebook from him "Lucifer stop!" Lucifer is taken back by Alastor using his name "I need to do this everyone is counting on me, I need to make sure that if god kills them we can bring them back I can't make a single mistake on anything of this! I need to do this" Lucifer looks him in the eye "you have been studying and memorizing this for 24 hours straight you need to take a break." Lucifer makes the book and notebook disappear "you are going to give yourself a panic attack with all this stress. Everyone is counting on you, yes, and that's extremely stressful but if you have a panic attack then it's not going to help you." Alastor looks away from him silently "look at me" Lucifer gently makes Alastor look at him. "Take a break, come downstairs and relax with us just for a moment that's all, 1 hour" Alastor nods "okay" Lucifer stand up and holds out his hand

Alastor takes his hands and stands up and walks with Alastor down the hall. They walk past all the pictures of everyone. I look at them as they walk "Alastor" He looks at him "this isn't going to be fun" "I know "fighting god isn't.. it's not going to end well and we both know this but" they stop and look at a picture of everyone together "we aren't alone, we will never be alone" Alastor picks up Lucifer and kisses his forehead "as long as I have you" "and as long as I have you" they kiss smiling into it.

Alastor walks downstairs holding Lucifer; he's already feeling at ease from being so stressed about everything. Charlie runs up to them "father perfect timing!!" "What's wrong!?" "Your tail is small and red AND black right??" "Uh yes it's both colors" "told you!" Charlie looks at Angel "what!? I thought it was just red!" "No? My tail has black on it?" "Dammit!" Charlie laughs running back to my group "he's my dad I know what his tail looks like!" Alastor chuckles confused. Lucifer laughs "why are you two fighting over the color of his tail??" They sit down with them.

"Well we were talking about if for some reason we died and our souls had to be put in another body what body would we choose and Angel said he would want a tail like father cause he likes the red and I said I like the black and then-" "I was so cute your tail was only red" Angel pouts. Alastor stands taking off his overcoat and turns around showing his tail and that it is red and black. Chicle giggles "it's so cute!" "Oh Angel I have a question for you" "what's up?"
