Powerless

3rd Person Pov

Alastor and Lucifer are sitting with everyone and they decide that until they can figure out what is going on they need to tell everyone, with Alastor not having any powers they need to know they can't rely on him to do anything like he usually does. Alasto is sitting on his chair trying to think about what to say and how to say it. He doesn't like that he will be viewed as weak. He's been his true self for a long time now being able to laugh, smile, frown, and even cry but something about not having any power at all burns

Everyone is waiting worried last time they were all together for an announcement and Lucifer and Alastor were this quiet they were at war with god. "So we have run into a uh.. problem" Lucifer looks at Alastor "Alastor has lost his powers, completely" "WHAT!?" Everyone stands up and looks at Alastor. Alastors ears are pinned to his head as he taps his leg bouncing. "We don't know when or. if he'll get them back so until then we can't rely on him anymore" Lucifer gently places his hand on Alastors knee. Alastor looks at him and his leg stops bouncing.

Charlie paces around "Okay okay so what if we" She lists off a bunch of stuff they can try to get his powers back everyone else is freaking out listing stuff that could happen without Alastors protection. "Okay okay guys, let's worry about this tomorrow right now Alastor is already stressed enough and it's not going to help freaking out, I'm still here with my powers too you know so we aren't powerless" Zere sits next to Alastor "don't worry papa, we're going to figure this out" Alastor chuckles softly "I know we will." "Why don't we all go to bed we will worry about this tomorrow" Lucifer takes Alastors hand, Alastor stands up and follows him upstairs

~The next day~

Alastor is in the library, and he has been very stressed about what to do, hes read almost every book he can find on how to get his powers back but can't find anything, and hes starting to get frustrated. "hun why don't we ask my dad? I'm sure God himself can give you your powers back my love" "Because we can't just run to god when something goes wrong we need to figure it out ourselves before we do that." "you're making things way too complicated my love" Lucifer grabs his face "You are getting so frustrated, why don't we take a break? we can take some time to relax" Alastor nods "Okay fine.." Lucifer kisses his cheek smiling "Don't worry about anything okay? we will figure it out in no time" Lucifer kisses his face a bunch causing Alastor to laugh "Okay okay you're going to make me suffocate" "Oh really?" Lucifer keeps kissing and laughing along with Alastor.

Charlie walks in "Hey Dad Blitz is here to see you?" "oh okay," Lucifer stands up as Blitz walks in "Blitz how can I help you?" "it's Stolas.. I don't know what's going on but hes lost all of his power.. he can't do anything I'm so worried I don't know what to do hes panicking.." "What?? That's what happened to Alastor too" Lucifer taps his chin "Maybe there's a bigger reason for you losing your powers hun" Alastor stands up "Let's find out." Alastor and Lucifer follow Blitz back to their place and see Stolas sitting on the couch wrapped in a blanket watching reality TV 

"hey, stoals I'm back with Alastor and Lucifer, they are going to help okay? Alastor is having the same problem too" Blitz sits next to Stolas. Stools looks up at them "Your powers are gone as well??" "yeah, I thought it was because of everything I had to do but if you are also powerless then there is another reason. It's almost like someone is trying to weaken the most powerful right now. but why?" "wait but Lucifer is fine" Blitz looks at Lucifer "It's different with me, I'm as old as time I'm untouchable and have plot armor so" "Oh, makes sense, then what are we going to do about getting their powers back, Stoals can't do his job without it and Alastor is now just a deer. " "I'm more than just a deer!" "you are hun you are, well figure this out don't worry." Lucifer grabs his hand "There's something bigger than we thought we need to go around and get information." "good idea I need something to distract myself." "uh no." Lucifer puts his hand on Alastors chest "What?? why??" "you are completely powerless and you rely on them. you and Stolas are both at Rick right now so no. You are not coming with. Me and Blitz are going out while you two stay in here and not go anywhere." Alastor crosses his arms "What are we supposed to do?"

Lucifer grabs a random book "Read something or help Stolas's staff clean or something but do. not. leave. this. palace." Alastor groans "Fine." "we will be back my love and when we come back we will have the answer to why all this is happening." Alastor sits down "Okay, but why can't we go to god and ask him to fix everything?" "Because my sweet darling if we go to my father then that just shows all of hell that we can't handle our situations in hell and we just go to my dad to fix it. we need to show that no matter what they throw at us." "Fine. you make a point." Alastor opens the book "right. come on Blitz" "Yes sir." Lucifer and Blitz leave.

Lucifer POV

"Okay, what do you think we should do? we can split up or stay together." Lucifer is looking around "Well since whoever is doing this can take powers from two of the most powerful beings in hell I would like to stay with you." Blitz is holding his gun "Fair point yeah, probably best you stay with me just in case something happens. Right, where would be the best place to start?" "Whenever I need information I go to a friend of mine, he knows everything that goes on here." "Alright lead the way." Blitz takes Lucifer down a pitch black ally way the end of it lit by a single-candle lantern on the wall. Blitz steps ahead as Lucifer stays in the shadows "Weselton. come out!" "it's weaselton! Duke Weaselton and you know that!!" Blitz laughs "I know anyway we need information." "it's gonna cost you." "How about you do it because I say so?" Duke looks over at the shadows only to see eyes "Who are you!? you can't tell me what to do!!" Lucifer steps out from the shadows "Oh, yes I can." "L-Lucifer S-Sir I didn't know it was you I couldn't see you..!" 

Lucifer walks up to him "All I need is information." "anything!" "I heard you know all" "Of course I do, I have connections nobody has and I know everything that happens in this place." Duke clenches his teeth "Has anyone recently talked about trying to be the most powerful, especially mentioning Prince Stoals or my husband Alastor, and has anyone recently gotten very very powerful." "Everyone talks about being powerful but I did hear about someone getting powerful out of nowhere, he did mention your husband as well" "Who??" "nobody knows who he is he's wearing a stupid mask that looks like the exorcist's mask." Lucifer's eyes widen "Are you sure it's an exorsits mask??" "it's not exactly one but it looks a lot like one but with some small differences." "ffffuck." Lucifer sighs "Do you know who it is??" Blitz grabs his gun "it's Adam." "Adam??" who the fuck is Adam?" Blitz looks at Lucifer like he's stupid "The first man Adam, we, by we I mean the housekeeper Nifty killed him years and years ago, he got sent here and dad wouldn't let him go back. he's been so under the radar I forget he even existed. of course, he stays good does everything he needs to, and then as soon as he gets the chance he tries to get what he wants." "Which is??" "power. he's the first man. he's got an ego bigger than anyone I have ever met. he's going to do everything he can to be the most powerful being in hell. he will stop at nothing. he's going to get more and more powerful with the more power he takes."

Blitz gulps "What are we going to do??" "he was sloppy. we know he's the one doing it. his first mistake was starting with my husband. well take him down and this time. he won't. come. back." Lucifer's eyes turn red "I'm not letting that fucker hurt my family any longer." Blitz smirks "fuck yeah! let's go kick some first-man ASS!!"
