Leanne
Hmmm, I'm awake? God what time is it? We're supposed to be at the Louvre by 13:00. Where am I? Open an eye Leanne. Why am I freezing?
Leanne looked up and then felt around the bed looking for the feather comforter. She tried to roll up on her side and found the edge of the bed. Sitting up she saw Wilson on the other side of the mattress rolled up in a snug cocoon with all the covers.
Great, a blanket hog. And definitely not a sleep hugger. I thought I fell asleep with him cuddled up behind me. We were warm and safe, and he kissed my neck just before I dropped off. Can't believe how well I slept.
Leanne scanned the floor for her sleep tee. Spotting it she pulled it over her head and ran her fingers through her hair.
Oh God, I need a shower so bad. My hair's a mess tangled beyond belief. Worth it though. Wilson is so sweet. We figured it out. Oh boy did we figure it out. Last thing he said was why was I so scared, and then he squeezed my breast three times. Heck of a way to say I love you. I'll let him sleep.
Leanne looked at her watch. Not that late. Only seven thirty. She opened the door to the hallway and stepped out. Letting out a satisfied sigh, she headed toward her room.
"Leanne?"
Damn. Busted.
She opened the door to her room.
"Hey, I'm not out to make you feel awkward, although the situation is not likely to make you believe me," Elise said.
"Walk of shame, as my mother warned me. I didn't make it back to my own bed last night." Leanne turned to face Wilson's mother. "I think he's going to sleep pretty late."
"Good. He needs the rest, but he needed the other more. You're good for him." Elise smiled as she touched her shoulder. "I'm sure you worked things out between yourselves."
I know why Wilson loves her so much. She isn't making a big deal about this.
"You look happy, Leanne. If you want to talk, I'm always there."
"Wilson says you know everything about sex and sexuality. I've got questions. We figured things out, first time for both of us, but wow."
"Grab your shower. I'm making breakfast. Late start for me this morning. It's my Saturday for late appointments. I have one a month for those who can't make it any other time."
"I'll be out in about twenty minutes," Leanne told her.
"Good enough." Elise disappeared through the arched opening into the sitting room.
Leanne raced through her shower, leaving her hair wet, before brushing her teeth. Stopping at Wilson's door she peeked in and realized he hadn't moved. She watched for a second to see if he was breathing before heading into the kitchen.
"Do you like chia seeds?" Elise asked. "I've had them soaking in yogurt overnight. It's my usual go to for breakfast, but I know Wilson loves oatmeal. Not sure if he still does though. He's grown up. I missed so much."
Leanne's cellphone pinged, but she put it on the kitchen island counter face down.
"Check it. It might be important." Elise continued stirring.
"It's a message from my mom." Leanne scanned it and gasped. "Oh my God! Poor Mom. But I told her, Keith was coming on to me. She didn't want to believe me."
Elise turned the heat off under the pot and came over to hold Leanne's shoulders from behind. "Tell me. I won't judge. Wilson said you have had a rough time."
