Prologue
"Are you ready?" my mother asked as she peeked into my room.
"yes, mom." I answered closing the last box of clothes I was packing.
We were moving into my new step dad's house today. My dad died when I was 5 and since then my mom has not dated any one until she met David Stone, my new step-dad.
They got married a month ago and just came back from their honeymoon in Paris.
Moving the last box into the truck, she drove us to our new home.
We arrived there 15 minutes later, and David came out to welcome us.
"Natalia "he said while drawing my mom in for a kiss.
"Hello Alex" he said, finally acknowledging me.
"Hi David "
"welcome to your new home, hope you will like it here"
"Thank you" I said.
"Let me get Derek to help you move in to your room"
"DEREK!! " he yelled," can you help Alex move her things into her room"
And out of the house comes the most sexiest guy alive, glaring in my direction.
"Hello Derek", my mom said smiling at him but he only grunted in reply.
Oh! Did I forget to mention that I had a stepbrother.
