Unlike me, Derek was not so happy with the marriage. David divorced Derek's mother when he was 10 and he blames his father for the divorce. Let's just say they don't get along with each other.

He started lifting the boxes and I couldn't help but notice how the muscles of his back flexed beneath his navy blue t-shirt. Carrying the boxes into the house, I followed him into the house carrying some boxes. We said nothing to each other and kept on moving the boxes to my room.

My room was big, bigger than my former bedroom and more beautiful than my last. It had cream coloured walls, a small walk in closet and even a queen-sized bed. I love my new.

Derek came into the room and dropped the box he was holding. "That's the last one" he said before turning around to leave the room."Derek "

I called and he stopped, turning around to face me," What? "he asked scowling at me, his blue eyes freezing me on the spot.

" I-i j-just wanted to say thank you, for helping me, you know, with the boxes "I said weakly.

" well you are not welcome "he answered, hostility present in him.

Then he turned around and left the room, slamming the door behind him.

Sighing heavily, I slumped on my bed. Why does he hate me so much, I asked myself.

Too bad I'm attracted to him. I stand up and start unpacking my things. I have school on Monday so I have to prepare. I am starting a new school but i don't feel bad because I didn't like my old school and don't really have any friends. Let's just hope this year will be different.
