The car Two-Bit was driving was pretty beat, but it got places. He and Marcia were skipping, just out of pure boredom. Marcia thought that they would head into town and just roam the streets for a couple hours, but that wasn't the case. He ended up driving out into the countryside.

"It's so nice out," Marcia said, her voice interrupting the radio, which was playing Frank Sinatra. She nudged away from Two-Bit and sat closer to the window. She held her arms out from it and stuck her head out just a little and let the wind throw her hair everywhere.

Two-Bit kept looking over at her and seeing how happy she was. "Hey, you hungry?" He asked.

"A little, but we just ate,"

"But... there IS a dairy queen nerdy and we have been driving for thirty minutes..." Two-Bit was almost pleading for the ice-cream.

"Oh fine!" Marcia finally gave in.

"Yes!" Two-Bit yelled then jerked the car to the left into the drive in. Marcia fell onto Two-Bit but they both just laughed it off.

The man at the window looked to the two oddly. "Don't you two look a little young to get food at a time like this?"

"School got out early," Two-Bit shrugged. The man just rolled his eyes and took their orders.

"Thanks, Two," Marcia said as they received their ice cream. "Where are we off to now?"

"I might have an idea..." Two-Bit spoke.

"Where?" Marcia asked. She knew it was gonna be good.

"We'll see..."

It was another hour of driving before they reached a big empty field in which Two-Bit parked the car. It was getting dark and the sky was beginning to turn different colors.

"What are we doing out here?" Marcia asked, grabbing Two-Bit's hand, who was helping her out.

"Just thought it'd be nice." Two-Bit exclaimed. He was climbing to the roof of the car and helped his girlfriend. They just laid down on the hood and held each other's hand. The sun began setting.

"It's real pretty," Marcia smiled. Two-Bit simply nodded.

They stayed late enough for the stars to come out. The sky was black with little gold stars that shimmered in the sky. There was the sounds of crickets and the faint sound of Dean Martin on the radio.
