Happy Birthday Iris_Iertino

~~~~~
Optimus stood in the kitchen area. It seemed to be a part of the living room, just shoved in the corner. It was probably very useful for someone as old as Torino.
Midoriya finishes suiting up, "Alright, let's do this."
"Show me your smash," Torino says flatly.
"Uhh..." Midoriya hesitates, "are you sure this is a good idea? I'm kinda worried since I've never used this suit before. Plus, you know, this place is small. And, if I accidentally fired a smash at 100%, then- your body wouldn't be able to handle it."
"Good grief, kid. Chatterbox, aren't ya?" Torino smirks.
He suddenly launches off, once more jumping around the room at great speeds.
"I'm losing patience!" Torino shouts as he kicks Midoriya in the back.
"Okay, that really hurt," Midoriya responds in a strained voice.
Optimus tracks Torino's movements, it's difficult, but he's able to do it. Optimus notices Torino moving right for the kitchen. He quickly grabs the microwave and pulls it out of the way before Torino crushes it. He knows that was probably unnecessary, but he figured out the hard way that electronics are expensive.
"What? You didn't realize my true strength earlier?" Torino asks as he stands on the counter, "I can't believe you're the ninth holder of this great power. All Might's hardly thought you anything. Guess all that fame doesn't translate into being a good mentor."
Torino launches again and starts hitting Midoriya. Midoriya manages to anticipate Torino's movements and releases a Smash, but Torino dodges. Optimus can tell Torino is saying something, but the sound of both Midoriya and Torino's quirks are covering up any sound. Torino pins Midoriya to the ground by the head.
"Listen to me," Torino states, "the way you used One-for-All in the Calvary Battle and the Tournament showed that your adjusting to the Quirk. You understand its fundamentals. But your admiration for All Might and sense of loyalty to him are shackles on you."
Optimus sighs, realizing that there isn't anything for him in the conversation. He puts the microwave back down on the counter. He notices that when he pulled it away, he unplugged it. He starts looking around for the plug but can't quite find it. After a while he realizes it's between the wall and the counter. He shoves his hand down the small gap and plugs it in. He uses the clock on his phone to set the correct time on it.
"You!" Torino points to Optimus, "come with me."
Optimus quickly walks over.
"We're getting some grub," Torino explains.
It takes a moment for Optimus to realize that grub means food.
~~~~~

Optimus finds it a bit odd that they're buying groceries in their hero costumes, but he decides not to mention it. He's learned new things about Midoriya, but also more questions. *What exactly is One-for-All? Why does Troino know so much? What is All Might's spot in all this? What's the point of me even being here?*

"Orion, can you please grab the fish biscuits? They're a bit too high for me to reach," Torino points to a box of fish biscuits.

Optimus grabs the box. Finding no place to put them, he just holds them in his hands.

"Mr. Torino," Optimus starts.

Torino interrupts Optimus, "I bet you've got questions. Let me explain this to you. One-for-All is a quirk passed down from person to person. Midoriya is the ninth holder, while All Might is the eighth."

*So that's why they seem so close. They have the same quirk. It's like the Matrix.* Optimus nods in understanding.

"But why are you telling me this?" Optimus asks.

"I can tell there's more to you than meets the eye," Torino responds, "And I saw the recording of you during the USJ incident. You've known of your quirk for as long as Midoriya has had his, yet you've adapted faster. You put your life on the line to help your fellow students. The way you behave, it's as if you've done this all before. You don't act like a student who's just started learning."

Optimus doesn't know what to say. Torino isn't wrong. Cybertronians are very adaptable, and he has had plenty of past battle experience. He may have lost the fight against Nomu, but he learned about his opponent. If he fought another Nomu, he'll be ready.

"I asked for you to come here because I thought you might be the right person to help Midoriya when this training thing is over," Torino explains.

"I understand, Mr. Torino. I will help Midoriya," Optimus promises.

"Good. Now can you grab some tea?" Torino goes back to focusing on shopping.

I think I've been misspelling Midoriya this entire time... I'm too lazy to go back and fix it in the other chapters though...
