𝐀𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐙𝐙𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃𝐒, marking the end of another successful game for the college basketball team, the air is thick with tension.

Satoru sat on the bench, his eyes locked onto me as I walked off the court. Despite my coldness towards him, he couldn't help but admire my fiery spirit. I was one of the best cheerleaders on the team, and he found himself drawn to my nature.

"Damn, Satoru. You did it again," Suguru, his best friend and teammate, said as he slapped him on the back, his usual grin split wide on his face. "Agreed," chimed in another teammate, high-fiving him.

Satoru nodded and pushed himself up from the bench, walking towards the losing team's side. He extended his hand towards the other team's captain, and they shook hands. "Good game," Satoru said, his voice low and steady.

Satoru walked back towards the bench, a satisfied smile on his face. He had done what he set out to do: secure another win for his team. But as he took his seat beside me, he couldn't help but notice how cold I was still acting towards him.

Satoru leaned in close to me, a mischievous grin on his face. "You know, even if don't like me, I still think you're the hottest cheerleader on the team," he whispered in my ear.

"Oh come on, Y/N," Satoru teased, his tone light and playful. "You can't deny there's something between us. The tension is palpable every time we're near each other."

I rolled my eyes at his comment, trying to avoid the heat that instantly filled my cheeks. "Please, Satoru. I bet you say that to every girl you've been with or even talked to," I retorted, not wanting to give in to his flirting.

Satoru laughed, his deep voice resonating around us. "Touché," he said with a nod of approval. "But you know I only have eyes for you, sweetheart." He winked and grabbed a towel from the bench to dry off his face.

I crossed my arms, trying to maintain my icy glare. "Well, maybe you shouldn't be so fixated on me, because I'm not interested," I said, hoping my voice sounded as confident as I wanted it to.

Satoru raised an eyebrow, studying me intently. "Oh, you really know how to wound a guy, don't you?" He said, trying to hide the hint of hurt in his voice with a laugh.
