Chapter 10- floor bed

I walk back in and smile at Danny.
"Hey sleepy boy, Jenny said you can take your jumper off and we can snuggle down and sleep, no one's coming in period 1 or form."
"But my arm."
"She doesn't care about her job, she won't tell anyone. Plus I may have brought it up."
"What? You told her?" He asks, anger in his voice.
"I'm sorry my love."
Danny takes a deep breath, "it's fine."
He stands up and takes his jumper off revealing multiple bruises, scars, cuts and obviously the big bloody bandage.
"We should probably change this." I point to his toilet paper bandages.
He nods. I walk over to the first aid box and pull out some bandages. I unravel his toilet paper bandages and walk over to the bin.

"Turns out the kid wasn't in." Jenny walks in frowning.
Danny throws his arm down and hides it.
"Hon it's fine." She scoffs. He shoots me a worried look and I gently lift his arm back up. I open some disinfectant wipes and carefully wipe his arm. He flinches and whimpers quietly. I look up at him and place a hand on his cheek. I lean in and kiss him.
"Awww. Y'all are so fucking cute." Jenny giggles.
We release the kiss and I smile at him.
"Deep breaths." I whisper. He breathes in and I continue to wipe his wounds.

After I'm done I attempt to rebandage his arm.
"Uhh jenny how do I do this? I can bandage it but how the flip do I tie it or whatever."
She walks over and takes the bandage from my hands.
"Yikes." She looks at the letters on his arm.
"First of all have you disinfected it?"
"Yes."
"Okay so you need to wrap it round as you did, then tuck it in. Easy peasy." She smiles.
"Awesome thanks."
"Oh by the way, if the sofas too small for you both I can set up a floor bed?"
"Sure." I smile.

"Oh uhm also miss can I put a hoodie on, like not a school one." Danny asks
"Fuck do I care hon. Do whatever."
He laughs and finds one out of his bag.
On the floor she sets up two big pillows, a blanket on top and then a duvet.
"Where the fuck did you get a duvet from?" Danny laughs.
"Uhh idk. I have it in my cupboard." She shrugs.
We walk over and sit down against the wall. Danny leans against my shoulder and puts his hood up. Overtime we both fall asleep on eachother, the duvet pulled over us both.

Jenny:
I swivel round on my chair as it's gone quiet. The two of them and laying down on-top of eachother. Holy shit this is cute. I take out my phone and snap a picture. Lovebirds.
