Chapter 3: A Rosy Queen Clashes with the Dandelion Leader

(To be honest, I do like Riddle, and Ephemer is one of my favorite characters from Kingdom Hearts. He did his best, and I don't care what anyone else says! Riddle was also a great start to the app and story as well. Really makes you think about what is happening. Enjoy!)

                  "What?..." Ace groaned as he blinked and stared at the sun, "What happened?"

He blocked the sun with his right hand and tried to gather himself. He groaned and sat up to find himself in a center of a hedge maze with a few rose bushes and four entrances to other places in the maze. He looked over his shoulder to find an unconscious Deuce. Ace shook his head to shake Deuce.

"Hey, get up" Ace groaned, "We've got to find the others, I think. I dunno. This looks like our dorm, but something isn't right about this"

"What are you talking about, Ace?" Deuce asked as he rubbed his head and looked around, "This looks like our dorm. Wait, where is the dorm?"

Ace shook his head before picking himself up. He took out his phone and checked for service and any messages with his friends and dormmates. Deuce looked around and noticed trees and bushes with red roses painted.

"It looks like our dorm, but something isn't right" Deuce commented as Ace let out frustrated yell, "We've got no signal! Seriously, where are we?!"

Deuce shook his head at him as both felt an odd light coming from behind them. Both shared a look as Ace put his phone away before drawing his pen. They turned around to point their pens at this unknown light.

"On 3" Ace whispered as Deuce nodded, "1...2....3!"

Both cast their magic toward the unknown light as she let out scream. She ducked and summoned Destiny's Embrace to throw it at the Adeuce duo! Both screamed, but Deuce reacted quickly to tackle himself and Ace to the ground to avoid the incoming keyblade. The keyblade disappeared in light to reappear in her hands and stand before them.

"What the Great Seven?" Ace asked in utter disbelief until Deuce stared at the wielder, "You're a girl!"

Kairi tilted her head at that comment with Ace shaking his head at his friend. They stood up and faced her. They were surprised to realize that the light was coming from her. Her light was different from the ones they knew.

"I am so sorry!" Deuce exclaimed as he lowered his head to hide his blushing face.

"I guess, but what are you doing here?" Ace asked as he remained on guard.

Kairi could tell one was hostile while the other was flustered. She held her keyblade out and made it disappear in light. Ace was surprised by this as Deuce glanced at her.

"Ok, let's start from the beginning" Kairi suggested, "My name is Kairi. My friends and I saw the sky cracking and heard from King Mickey to find you and your friends"

"Mickey?!" Ace and Deuce shouted surprised and turned to face each other, "So, has he mentioned on how to find a way home for her?"

"Home? No, King Mickey never mentioned that. He did mention a friend of his was probably sent to another world" Kairi explained, "I am not sure where your friend is nor do I know anything else about her relationship with King Mickey"

Adeuce dup sighed in defeat and appeared deflated. Kairi felt sad for them and wondered what she could to help.

"Well, we can help Yuu later" Ace said as he rubbed the back of his head, "For now, we should figure out where we are and find our friends and dormmates"

"Oh! This place is Wonderland" Kairi answered, "A former Princess of Heart lives here along with the Queen of Hearts"

This made Adeuce jump and shout in disbelief, "The Queen of Hearts is real?! This is the Wonderland?!"
