Chapter 8: The Piosnous Queen Stands Against the Broken Blade

                 "House warden can't blame me for this" Epel groaned as he was laying in the flower field, "Where am I?"

He sat up and tilted his head side to side as he tried to make sense of their location. Before Epel could do anything, Rook quickly pulled his freshman away and into the forest! Epel was screaming as Rook had his hand over his mouth. Rook let his hand go as he grinned at his freshman.

"Rook?! What in tarnation?!" Epel shouted as he nearly jumped at Rook.

"Je suis désolé, monsieur Cherry Apple. But I didn't want you to alert our presence to them" Rook explained in a whisper.

Before Epel could ask who, Rook pressed a finger to Epel's lips and lowered themselves into the bushes. They peeked through the bushes and found a trio walking through the flowery field.

"Are you sure you know where we are going?" Vanitas asked annoyed, "We are stuck in this flowery field when we could've done something by now"

"Vanitas, please be patient" Strelitzia pleaded with him as she was holding Chirithy in her arms while trying to catch up to him.

Ven was walking behind them with the Gummi Phone in his hands. He was reading the reports and information from Brain. Ven wasn't too sure about this and wondered what he could possibly do to help.

"Ven, are you ok?" Strelitzia asked as she gazed at him with worry.

"Yeah, yeah. I am fine. I am just thinking" Ven answered as he pulled up the map, "We have two darkness and two lights present in Dwarf Woodlands. I am not sure where they are, but there is a light and darkness here"

Vanitas groaned as he looked over Ven's shoulders to see the map. He understood Ven's confusion about their situation. Ven was searching for the light and darkness that were supposedly nearby. He couldn't find them. Vanitas searched for the light and darkness and turned his attention to the forest.

"I get it" Vanitas mumbled as he summoned his keyblade, Void Gear, to cast a ball of fire towards the forest!

Ven, Strelitzia, and Chirithy were surprised as Epel let out a yell with Rook grabbing him and rolling out of the forest before it caught fire! Epel was panicking as Rook faced the trio of keyblade wielders.

"Found them" Vanitas said with a smirk before pointing his keyblade at them, "So, you're the light and darkness we were searching for. Thanks to you, you made me wait and bored. I will not forgive you for that!"

Rook pulled Epel behind him as well as drawing his magic pen to reply, "Oh? Je suis désolé, but I was unaware that I would be entertaining guests in an unknown land. Very well. I shall dance with you!"

Vantias smirked as they faced each other before charging at each other! Vanitas swung his keyblade, but Rook jumped and took aim from his pen to conjure a fire spell of his own. He cast the fire as Vanitas avoided the spell.

"Really? A simple spell like that? That is not enough against me!" Vanitas shouted as he conjured his own fire spell to combat against Rook's.

Vanitas' spell destroyed Rook's as Vanitas lunged and swung his keyblade against Rook's pen!

"Rook!" Epel shouted with worry before holding his pen and tried to think of something to help his vice dorm leader.

Vanitas laughed as he effortlessly cast another fire spell at Epel! It was quick and homing in on him! Epel raised his pen to protect himself, but Strelitzia rushed to hold her Starlight keyblade to protect herself and him from the spell!
