I smile while looking up at him. The drizzel of the rain starting to quicken.
He takes notice of my smiling face and my gaze looking up at him. He smiles back at me now, his gaze meeting mine. His lushes hair covering his forhead, while little crystal like raindrops pearl on the edges of his hair.
"Why.. Did you do all of this?" He asks, in a gentle yet perplexed tone. Tilting his head slightly at me.
I look into his dark green eyes. The blood thirsty monster has now evaded from his soul. "I have my reasons." I smirk.
"Which are? I mean.. You haven't spoken a word back at the den, and then I take you to town and you do this? What is this?" He says gesturing around us as I follow his hand. Looking at all the ripped apart bodies, and blood which was slowly being washed away by the rain.
"Feeling guilty now are we? The Hunter I saw earlier didn't care as much." I say to him, seemingly dodging the questions.
"I-.." He pauses for a bit. Lost in thought of his own events.
"I'm not feeling guilty...I actually enjoyed this... But I don't understand you. Your... change of demeanor. Even the glint in your eyes... It's different.. I'm only trying to understand you." He says forrowing his eyebrow in concern, while he held onto my hands.
"You don't have to understand me to love me." I say simply without any less emotion nor anymore.
He looked at me. Not knowing what to say next after my comment. He realised that, he took me away from my family because after all.. he loves me.
I pull my hand away from his and gently caress his cheek. "Now that I know your capabilities... We'll have much fun. Wont we Hunter?" I say. My gaze nearly hypnotising.
He smiles at me with uncertainty, yet trustful gaze. "As you wish. My love." He says. All he wanted was this. That I would love him back. And engage with him.
I smirk and turn to the ruines. "Time to get what we deserve." I say with a devilish smile and head to the nearby house. Stepping over bodies and parts like it's any other normal day, while Hunter followed me close behind.
I rumaged through the villager's stuff and took all their money, and some weapons, and ate their food, while throwing out precious family heirlooms, and other things like pictures. ugly clothes and furniture. It was a fun time, recking through people's things. And they couldn't do anything about it. Not even one bit. I smiled at the bodies on the floor, feeling satisfied. While Hunter just watched me with content.
I suppose, he Just didn't mind my psychotic behaviour. Aslong as I was with him. Thats all that mattered to him.
I wondered the deserted Town. I even had a new change of clothes. The armor was made out of handmade leather. and had many components to fit knives and other things. It was perfect.
I heard a noise coming from one of the houses in a sort of allyway if you could call it that. I wondered in as Hunter followed close by.
To my surprise, it was a person. injured and covered in blood. They had a missing eye, which still bled. and a ripped open leg, which showed bone.
"P-p...ppleas-se... D-don-n't k-kill m-me..." She says as she tried to view us with her other eye. But her view was blurry, and slowy her body was giving up.
"Your already as good as dead. Why don't you just give up hm?" I say as I crouched down to her level, while Hunter stood behind me, watching the scene unfold.
She didn't answer, and only coughed a bit. which sounded more like a gurgle as her lungs must've been filled with blood.
I lean in closer and say "Where would the next Town be ey?" I say.
