Me and Hunter watched as Mika's body hung on the rope lifelessly, while everybody watched in slight disgust.
"Who will be Mayor now Deputy Robin?" Asked a sudden voice from the crowd.
"What do you mean by Who will be Mayor? Isn't it obvious? I will become Mayor. I'm the Deputy after all." He says pridefully.
"But what about North? He's also Deputy" Said the voice once more.
Robin looked appalled by the guy's response, the fact that North was even taken to account vexed him.
"North? Well North isn't here, is he? So, since thats the case, we have no other choice but to elect me as Mayor of Coerstin Town." Says Robin, with a devious smirk.
"But that wouldn't be fair. We should have both here, and then choose who's going to be the next Mayor." Replied the guy again.
Robin frowned and was seemingly about to swear, before he pulled himself together again.
"But it's silly waiting for a guy who's never even here, and rather spends his time on some stupid radishes." He says arms crossed.
"Yet he's still Deputy. Which means, he's part of the election." Says the guy, not taking any of Robin's trashy excuses.
"Fine, Fine! Go and ask the Radish Guy then. See where that seeds you. If you would rather have a scatterbrained nonsensical dude to be Mayor, then go ahead." Says Robin in a harsh mockinging like tone. Tapping his high boots on the floor boards.
The guy from the crowd just ignores him and goes of into one of the small like neighbourhoods.
Everyone else at this point had started to scatter away. Either to their houses or proceeding to do their chores. With snippets of lestering and talks about what had happened today.
Robin kept on tapping his boot, while having his arms crossed.
He was not liking how everyone just straight up ignored his fuss.
He was so enraged that he sighed very loudly, to get at least someone's attention.
But no one gave a damn.
Two men behind him started to remove poor Mika from the rope, and into a box, which was used like a coffin to later bury her with.
I kept on watching the scene, when all of a sudden I heard a whimper next to me.
I turn to look at Hunter, who's eyes were glowing gold again.
"Uhm.. You good?" I ask, raising an eyebrow.
"Yes... Everything is just fine." He replies, while trying to keep himself under control of whatever that is.
"Doesn't seem fine. Whats up with you?" I say, nearly demanding an answer.
"Nothing." He says, while breathing heavily.
We were kneeling on the ground in a big bush, it was pretty spacious surprisingly, but his fit body was having a hard time by the looks of it.
His nails started to extend, slowly forming into wolf ones.
He groaned in pain.
"Dude, what is wrong with you? Are you turning?" I say demanding an answer this time.
"L-like I s-said, It's No-othing." He stutters out.
"Whatever it is, keep it under control, we can't have you turn into a wolf in a bush!" I whisper out, but honestly it was nearly a yell.
