Colorado

Andy drives through the country side, feeling peace the further she drove. Time passes and she finally gets to her desired destination. As she drives up the long driveway she sees horses eating from the pasture, calming waters from the passing river, and the pine trees that provided a sense of privacy.

Andy's car then comes to a stop next to a pick up truck in front of the ranch house. She gets out of her car, looking around to see nobody outside which leads her to make her way up to the front door of the house. Andy gets her key and grabs the doorknob but when she notices it's unlocked she puts her key away and steps inside the house.

It's quiet as she steps in further, walking towards the living room. A small smile comes across her lips while she leans over when she sees a sleeping figure on a small couch, a cowboy hat covering their face, their arms crossed over their chest, small snores being heard from the position they were sleeping in.

She then nudges the boot that was hanging off the arm rest waking them up hastily, removing the hat from their face, revealing a man.

"Honey, I'm home." Andy greets sarcastically as I woke up groggily, rubbing the sleep out of my eyes,

"An-Andy?" I rasp sitting up, my heart slightly pounding from being woken up abruptly.

"Expecting someone else?" She smirks.

"I wasn't even expecting you at all." I retort as I stand up now that I'm wide awake from my nap.

"What're you doing here, Andromache?" I ask towering over her, running a hand through my hair before putting my hat back on.

She sighs slightly looking into my eyes before speaking.

"I need a place to lay low for a while." She tells me.

"Yeah? And where you gonna go?" I raise a brow.

"Well... What better place to lay low than a Colorado ranch-

"Andromache-

"Come on, Y/N. You know how hard it is since you used to work with me!" She pleads.

"Exactly. Used to. I got out and you should too." I say walking past her and she follows close behind me.

"You always let me stay here!" She says after me.

"Yeah that's the problem." I stop, turning abruptly to face her again.

"I always let you stay here. And you always leave." I shake my head.

"Every time you need me, I'm there. Then you go ghost on me." I continue with a scoff.

"You think it's any easier for me?! You think I like not communicating with you? You have no idea, Y/N. It's what I have to do!" She fights back while flicked her arms.

"You're bleeding." I state looking at her right bicep to see a crimson wet patch starting to form on her forest green long sleeve.

"Guess I need to change the bandages." She mutters.

"When did you lost it?" I ask frowning my eyesbrows.

"My immortality? Well a few days ago." I nod without saying a word, I can understand what she is feeling cause it happened to me too, but the difference between both of us is that she is a very stubborn person.

"Thanks for nothing." She adds going to leave but I stop her by grabbing her wrist making her turn to me.

I wordlessly lead her to my bedroom then go to the bathroom that was connected grabbing a first aid kit.
