First off I want to thank everyone who has been reading and leaving such kind comments on this story! I truly appreciate you all!
I also want to apologize for the long delay in updates and offer a bit of explanation. I had to take a temporary step back from this story while I was dealing with an incredibly difficult situation at work. Not revealing to many details and making a very long story short, for the past several weeks I've been helping a young student of mine adjust to an emergency foster care placement, and as you can probably imagine, this story was suddenly hitting a bit too close to home.
I promise that this story isn't and won't be abandoned, and I'm hopeful to get a new update out soon (possibly this weekend but I don't want to make any promises!) Thank you again for your support and understanding. It truly means the world to me!
