"WAKE UP, DAMMIT!!"

You nearly bounce to your feet, but a strong pair of arms swiftly holds you down. Once you finally open your eyes, the stern gaze shooting down at you puts you on the defensive.

"I'm ok!" You yell, putting your hands up.

"No, you're not!" Janet hisses back, joining Jodi in giving you the harshest glare she could muster.

Finally realizing what her angry expression was doing to you, Jodi eases up, laying you back down in her lap and stroking your hair. She eyes you suspiciously, but her soothing gestures relax you a little, and the genuine care behind her irritated gaze is comfortingly familiar.

Wisps of Jodi's new platinum blonde hair roll gently over her ear. Before you can think twice, you reach up and run a few strands between your fingers.

"You're beautiful," you mutter.

Her cheeks flush red as she finally breaks eye contact, staring at the ground ahead of you. "Tch. Dumbass..." A grin barely squeezes past her lips.

"We're worried," Janet speaks up for her, placing a cold hand on your bicep. "The girls have told us that you've passed out before, and now you did it again."

Your eyes snap wide open as you remember what Leslie had asked you. "T-that's because-!"

"It doesn't matter why," Jodi interrupts, fully recovered from your compliment. "No one should be passing out this much. I think you should go get your tumor checked."

The word tumor wracks your body with shivers. Jodi hesitates, rocking back in regret for an instant. As soon as you gulp and turn to her, she pulls you up for a hug.

"Sorry," she whispers.

Her body is a wonderful, pillowy warmth. You squeeze her and she squeezes you back until your thoughts turn to fuzz.

As soon as you pull away, Janet reaches to you and pulls you in. Her body is leaner and nimbler, but her perky chest and longer hair give her embrace a distinct feeling that makes your gut flutter pleasantly.

Janet parts the hug with a peck on your cheek.

"O-oh!" Jodi gasps, blushing even deeper. "I didn't know you two... were... well, maybe I should've guessed after yesterday, but..." She mutters to herself.

"It's complicated," Janet says, pursing her lips.

You shrug. "Not really."

Janet's eyebrows raise high above her eyelids. "Huh?"

You smirk. "Why would it be complicated?" You ask, feigning complete innocence, as you reach a hand to cup her cheek. "I like you, and you like me. So..."

She starts to turn red at the sudden affection, matching Jodi's blush.

"Whyyy?" She whines. Jodi giggles at your clearly successful attempt to make her pleasantly blush. She leans on your shoulder, hugging your arm.

"I hate you." Janet pouts. You want to kiss her, but with Jodi on your side, it would be difficult.

"I love you too, Janet," you reply, putting as much earnestness as possible into your voice.

She instantly combusts. "THAT'S NOT WHAT I SAID WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT I DIDN'T EVEN-"

Only Jodi's piercing belly laughter cuts her off, and she turns her head away from both of you. Janet's heart races for reasons other than your teasing, but she keeps those thoughts quiet.

"Hey, what about me?" Jodi breathily asks, a chuckle escaping between each word.

"Aw, I love you too, Jodi," you say, leaning in and puckering your lips. You can sense the smirk behind her smile as she formulates her next quip.
