Jae was such a darling.

The schedule contained the basic subjects I could handle with ease and Jae sounded like someone who didn't really need much of my help.

She was a little more enthusiastic about when we had our first session and this time was no different, her hair was packed in a high pony tail as she flipped through her text book.

Jae complained about failing to understand one of the questions I left her to attend to, the last time I was here.

She did have a bit of a problem with algebra.

Scribbling down the solution, she abandoned her seat to reside by my side, her warm breath tickled the hairs on my skin, "wow you really are a maths guru aren't you Ana?" She gave off a sheepish smile taking my rough note she went back to her seat.

We stuck to first name basics given she was so easy to hold a conversation with and offered me a position to be a judge of the first draft of the book she had written.

When she learnt I was also a bookworm like she was she couldn't let the thought slide and told me all about her tbr list, the long list of both ebooks and physical ones had me impressed.

Our sessions were held in the walk in library connected to the guest room on the first floor, inbetween us carried her laptop and the few books I came along with.

Sending the next assignments she was to look into. I forwarded a detailed record of what I taught today, from the subjects- maths and chemistry, to the topics down to the time we began and finished to the email I presumed to be my boss'.

In other words, Jae's grumpy brother. Her words not mine, we are yet to meet officially plus from the looks of things I'll prefer if I never get to meet him in person until this whole arrangement is over.

Replying Uruo's text, I go back to sorting out my ebooks and fix a date to visit the bookstore this week.

With Uruo not being around reading has turned to a full time job, both my school work and binge reading more fictional books.

Peeping at Jae through my lashes, I excuse myself for a minute and head for the kitchen, from what I heard Lucy took the day off to look after her nieces that were visiting.

I somehow missed her presence in this large conspicuous space, taking the stairs I use the railing as support, fingers trailing down its metal build, my hands on instinct go to smoothen down my hair.
