Atop a forested hill lies U. A. High School, a prestigious academy known for its curriculum for the heroes-in-training of Japan.

Getting accepted at U. A. wasn't one of my goals in life.

Silky, pink hair gracefully swayed due to the wind at the entrance of the said school.

I question myself: How and why the hell did I do it?

A pair of determined pink eyes looked up at the tall building, showcasing everything but regret.

Omori Mira, daughter of the brightest-hero: Pheno, has been accepted into the famous U. A. through recommendations. However when she found out, she was shocked and confused---not the particular reaction one commonly gets (but for this generation of students, maybe it is).

"I will do my very best."

She walked in the building, being greeted by maybe hundreds of lockers. Checking her locker number and passcode on her little cheat sheet, she hurriedly went over to her locker and placed her unneeded belongings.

She quickly noticed that her locker contained a box of school shoes. Honestly, she preferred her year-old converse as it was more comfortable so she put away the box inside her locker.

The bell suddenly rang, indicating the nearing start of homeroom. Mira then sprinted as fast as she could to make it on time.

She noticed gigantic doors for each classroom with matching enormous labels; but she needed to find her certain room.

1-A or 1-B. . . ?

She regretted that she left her cheat sheet in her locker. "Damn, I should've read it all first..."

As a very normal and mature young adult, she did what anyone rational would've done.

"Eenie meenie, miney moe. . ."

"Oh! 1-B. Alright," she exclaimed as she went up to the huge door labeled '1-B' in a bold red.

She opened the door reluctantly and peeked inside.

No teacher. And so she opened it fully, revealing a classroom full of students chatting and getting to know each other. But as she revealed herself to the bunch, their heads turned so fast and their mouths sealed shut.

Mira looked around for a seat. But cursed under her breath as she figured out the room was full. She belonged in class 1-A.

A student stood up and walked over to the cursing girl. "Hey there, you with us?" he asked.

Mira sweat-dropped, "Oh, I'm so sorry," she bowed. "I think I'm in the wrong room. . ."

"It's fine!" Another voice spoke, "I got a little lost on the way here too."

The girl looked behind the male student in front of her to see another student (female) with orange hair, she was the one who spoke.

She smiled at her, "So, what class are you in?"

"1-A."

She smiled wider. "Woah, that's awesome! You're probably really strong."

Mira chuckled awkwardly, "I don't think so, we're all equal as of now, right?"

"Modest, and wise. I like you!" the male student grinned. "I'm Monoma Keito."

"And I'm Kendo Itsuka!"
