Later that evening, Win knocked off from work, he made his way down to the lobby of the building where his office was located. As he stepped outside, he noticed an unfamiliar black sedan parked across the street, its windows tinted darkly.

Waiting at the traffic light, Win felt a prickle of unease as the black sedan pulled up beside him. The windows rolled down, revealing Mr. Thanathorn's face, his expression smooth and composed.

"Good evening, Win," Mr. Thanathorn greeted, his voice smooth as silk. "Would you like a ride home?"

Win was taken aback by the unexpected offer, his mind racing with uncertainty. He hesitated for a moment, unsure of how to respond.

Just then, Book's voice cut through the air, calling out Win's name from afar. Startled, Win turned to see Book running up to him, a look of concern on his face.

"Win, we need to head back to the office for an urgent meeting," Book said quickly, his tone urgent. "There's something important we need to discuss."

Mr. Thanathorn cleared his throat, his gaze shifted to Book, a faint smile playing on his lips. "Ah, Book, it's been a while," he greeted, his voice smooth and confident.

Book nodded politely in return, his expression composed as he greeted Mr. Thanathorn. "Good evening, Mr. Thanathorn," he replied evenly, keeping his tone neutral.

Mr. Thanathorn's gaze lingered on Book, his eyes gleaming with a hint of mischief. "You're looking as charming as ever," he remarked, his voice laced with subtle flirtation.

Book maintained his composure, offering a polite yet distant smile. He had encountered Mr. Thanathorn's flirtatious tactics before and knew how to handle them with grace and diplomacy.

With a brief exchange of pleasantries, Book swiftly ended the conversation, gently guiding Win by the arm as they walked away from Mr. Thanathorn and back towards the office.

As Book walked Win back to the office, he kept a steady pace, his grip firm yet reassuring on Win's arm. Together, they navigated the familiar corridors until they reached Bright's office. As they entered, Bright looked up from his desk, surprise evident on his face at the unexpected return of Book and Win. He had assumed they had both left for the evening.

"Book? Win? I thought you both had left for the day," Bright exclaimed, confusion knitting his brows.

Book wasted no time in explaining the situation to Bright, recounting the encounter with Mr. Thanathorn and the black sedan outside the office building. "Mr. Thanathorn approached Win and offered him a ride home," Book explained quickly, his voice urgent. "But I intervened just in time, and we came straight back here."

Bright's eyes widened in shock at the revelation. "What!?" he exclaimed, his voice filled with disbelief and concern. The realization of the danger they had narrowly avoided sent a shiver down his spine.
