Soon, as lunchtime approached, Bright pressed the intercom button on his phone and called for Win to join him for lunch.
"Win, would you like to join me for lunch?" Bright's voice rang out through the intercom, carrying a warm invitation.
Win's voice came through the intercom, slightly muffled but audible. "Sure, P'Bright. I'll be right there," he replied, his tone tinged with a hint of excitement.
Bright smiled to himself, glad that Win had accepted his invitation. He made a mental note to ensure that their lunchtime together would be enjoyable and relaxed, an opportunity for them to spend some quality time together inside the office.
As he waited for Win to arrive, Bright began to gather a few documents and notes, preparing for their discussion over lunch. He wanted to make the most of their time together, both professionally and personally.
Win was about to make his way to Bright's office, there was a soft knock on his door. He turned to see one of the assistants standing there, holding a paper bag in her hand. "Excuse me, Mr. Metawin," the assistant said politely. "I have a delivery for you."
Win raised an eyebrow in surprise, wondering what could be in the paper bag. "Oh, thank you. What's this?" he asked, stepping closer to take the bag from her.
"It's a lunch delivery, sir," the assistant explained. "It seems someone sent it over for you."
Win's curiosity piqued, and he quickly opened the paper bag to see what was inside. To his surprise, he found a neatly packed lunch, complete with a sandwich, some fruits, and a bottle of juice. "Do you happen to know who sent this?
"The assistant shook her head. "I'm sorry, sir. The delivery person didn't say. They just asked me to bring it to your office." With a nod, the assistant smiled and left Win's office.
As Win took the items out of the bag, he noticed a small card tucked away at the bottom. Curious, he picked it up and unfolded it to read the message inside. To his horror and dismay, the card was from Thanathorn.
The message on the card was short and to the point, but it sent a shiver down Win's spine. It simply read: "I hope you enjoy your lunch, Win. Remember, I'm always thinking of you."
As Win read the message, his hands trembled slightly with a mix of fear and frustration. Before he could collect himself, there was a knock on his door, and Bright entered the room, concern etched on his face.
"Win, baby, is everything okay? I've been waiting..." Bright's voice trailed off as he noticed the tears glistening in Win's eyes. Without hesitation, Bright walked up to Win, wrapping his arms around him in a comforting embrace.
Win buried his face into Bright's shoulder, seeking solace in his presence. "P'Bright, he sent me stuff again," Win choked out between sobs. "I don't want to see it. Can you throw it away, please?"
Bright tightened his embrace around Win, his expression turning stern as he glanced at the items from Thanathorn. "Of course, baby."
With Win still clinging to him, Bright reached out and gathered up the items, his jaw clenched in frustration. He made a mental note to deal with Thanathorn once and for all, but for now, his priority was comforting Win and ensuring his safety and well-being.
