Childhood love lost at sea (Ninjago x male reader)

It's too much

Jay's smile faded when Nya swung her spiked ball right at (y/n), but thankfully the boy jumped over it just in time.

"Garmadon must've used the ultimate weapon to turn her into his own evil image!" Misako spoke up as Jay charged past the others and right to (y/n)'s side.

"You really went to find Nya? I- I thought you-" Jay questioned (y/n), who suddenly cut him off.

"There's no time to talk. I'm sorry, Jay." (y/n) said again, but still reached a hand out for the blue ninja, before giving Jay's hand a tight squeeze. Before Jay could question (y/n) about it or anything else, Zane popped up behind them.

"(y/n) is right, we have more important matters to attend to, like Nya." Immediately to whole group once again concentrated on Nya, who was growling at them in a spiteful way.

"Garmadon must have sent her to slow us down. We have to stop them from firing that weapon." Wu stated as Cole stepped forward.

"What are we supposed to do? Use our Elemental Powers on her?" Cole asked as (y/n) dodged another one of Nya's attacks, this time landing right next to the black ninja.

"You want to hurt her?" (y/n) swiftly asked, sounding shocked from just hearing Cole's idea.

"Of course not! But..." The black ninja tried to clear up, but Kai motioned for him to quiet down, as the red ninja spoke up.

"Okay, let's just think up another plan. While we do that, let's just keep her from-" But in the middle of Kai's sentence, Nya once again swung the spiked ball, and knocked the red ninja down.

"...hurting us." Kai finished his sentence from ground level as Zane spoke up again.

"Well, we should think of something before Garmadon fires that weapon." He stated as the other ninja gave him quick nods, before they turned to the one and only green ninja.

"Lloyd, you go up ahead with Sensei and Misako, while we take care of Nya." Cole said as Lloyd spoke up with a tone of shock mixed with sadness.

"But you said you'd always be behind me."

"We will be. We'll catch up as soon as we can." Kai too spoke up, reassuring the green ninja while Jay was in a stare down with Nya. 

Jay waited until the perfect moment, before suddenly taking off with Spinjitzu. He tried to reach Nya before the girl could attack again, but sadly his effort was for naught as Nya swung her spiked ball at him from the side without mercy.

The ball hit Jay in the stomach, and quickly the blue ninja suppressed the pain, and backed off from Nya once again.

"The ninja are right. We must go." Wu stated as he observed the struggle between the ninja and Nya. Misako placed a hand on Lloyd's shoulder before stating a confident:

"We'll still be behind you, son." After hearing it, Lloyd's mixed face turned into a small smile, and he, Wu and Misako ran off, following the giant tracks on the ground.

"Not so fast, Sweetheart. This dance ain't over." Cole meanwhile taunted Nya, before he ran right towards her, yelling: "Triple Tiger Sashay!"

Yet his attempt to look good were in vain, as Nya grabbed him before he could perform even the first jump of the trick. Nya dug her fingers in, before spinning around once and throwing Cole right into the other ninja.

(y/n) managed to grab Jay and pull him away, but Kai and Zane were both knocked down as Cole flew right into them.

But the three jumped up after a quick moment to recover, which was only granted to them because (y/n) dashed away from Jay's side to instead hold Nya off.
