⚔︎Ψ 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐀𝐟𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐨𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 Ψ⚔︎

𝐈 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐰𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠...Luke had woken up as well. I knew he had to go.

But this time...I wasn't okay with it...but I rather wait in the shadows to fight along side...then continue to face the torments of others...

"Hey..." I whispered to him and he turned back to look at me.

He apologized. "I'm sorry. I didn't want to wake you."

I blushed at his response as he leaned over and kissed me and I blushed softly holding his face as he chuckled against my lips pulling away.

"I have to leave now." He told me.

Nodding to his response I sighed, "Okay...just... be safe. Please?"

When Luke left it felt like a pit in my heart however it also felt like a new chapter.

If he ever needs me he'll come back to me in a heartbeat. And that's all I ever wanted...

I had gotten up, today was the 22nd.

And I was a 19 year old...in love with a boy.

FINALLY SOMETHING NORMAL!

My mom had come home and saw me and shut the door, "Luke left?"

She asked and I nodded while drinking my hot chocolate, "yeah. He didn't want to bother if you came early."

She muttered under her breath, "he for sure did."

I almost choked on my drink looking at her as she sat down and stared intently into my face and glared at me.

"You're buying us a new bed." I scoffed and shouted "what!?"

Watching my mom purse her lips she stated, "I'm not mad, but Hayley we sleep on that bed!"

I rolled my eyes getting up as she began grabbing the lysol to spray all over the bed and I rolled my eyes once more.

"But how was it?" She giggled out and I blushed, "it was weird...but I...I don't know I blush every time I think about it..."

She smiled and walked over and embraced me in a hug and I smiled holding her as I said, "my birthday was one for the history books..."

My mom smirked and kissed my forehead. "I'm happy you had fun. But now...I want us to go visit his mother."

I was confused and stared at my mom as she explained, "you left the address here. And as a mother I feel bad...so...I was thinking we should go visit the woman every now and then and make sure she's okay."

That was touching, hearing my mom say that. I nodded in agreement hearing those words...

And we would do that, we would visit Ms Castellan. My mom and I would clean up the house once again.

But while we were there at May Castellans phone I had gotten an urgent alert from Damien and Sebastian, one that I was needed for. He said we all needed to meet at the Liu household. I grew curious as to why but my mom thankfully was going to stay with Ms. Castellan because it was urgent.

When I had made it to the Liu household seeing the beautiful and perfect plants, trees that have yet to turn brown or fall even though it was literally December I knocked on the door and their was Isabella standing there as she smiled at me and hugged me.

I gasped and held my arms up as she sighed out "I'm so happy you're not dead..." I smiled and and patted her back as she let go and pulled me inside slamming the door behind us.
